Study of the southeast bypass of Uherský Brod

Subject of this bachelor’s thesis is a study of southeast motorway bypass of the city Uherský Brod, a connection of roads II/490 and II/495. The study also deals with the possible relocation of road I/50 within the same area. Both existing roads are located in urban area. The reason for this study is an effort to reduce traffic intensity in the city and to complete the eastern motorway by-pass of the city. Three possible variants were described; one of them was chosen and described in more detail.

Family House on the Slope

The Bechelor‘s thesis is focused on a newly-built family house in Uherský Brod. Uherský Brod is town in the region of Zlín. The plot is situated on the outskirts of the town in a mildly built-up area. The terrain is sloping to Nort-East. The structure is a two-story building with a partial basement. The building foundations are based on the reinforced concrete foundation strips. The load-bearing structures of the basement are formed by permanent formwork. The second floor designed from Ytong system, specifically from thermal insulation block. The floor structure is cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The building is roofed with warm flat roof.

Apartment building in Uherský Brod

The subject of the work is a new construction of an apartment building with almost zero energy consumption and the elaboration of documentation for the construction. The building is located in a suburb of Olšava in Uherský Brod. The surrounding development consists mainly of apartment buildings. The proposed building is detached with three above-ground and one underground floor. Part of the design of the building is a parking lot for the needs of residents of an apartment building, located on the building plot. Thermal insulation and acoustic masonry of the Therm type were used for the design of the house. The ceiling structures are made of the Porotherm ceramic system, consisting of POT beams and Miako ceiling inserts. The building is covered with a flat roof with vegetation. The construction is based on foundation strips.

Uherskobrod Judes and their Culutre at the End of an Era

Bachelor's thesis is devided to two parts when first part is theoretical and its dedicated to history of Uherskobrodských judes and their lives in Uherský Brod during The First republic. In this part I prefer focus on their lives during 30. of 20. century and changes, which year 1939 brought apon them thanks to regime. Second part is practical and is focused at live story of jude Willy Block, who survived nightmares of Second World War in concentration camps and he is one of witness of holocaust.

Spokojenost návštěvníků restauračních zařízení na Uherskobrodsku

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to identify weaknesses of restaurant facilities in region of Uherský Brod. The first part contains a theoretical overview about catering services, customer behaviour and a description of marketing research. There is also a methodology describing statistics methods. In the practical part data from questionnaire are analysed. Based on the results there is a discussion which presents recommendation for restaurant’s owners in region of Uherský Brod.

Průzkum krovu hospodářského objektu

This work addresses the construction and evaluation of pre-construction condition survey of a farm feature truss located in Uherský Brod. Introductory theoretical part of the work deals briefly with truss typology, methods and methodology of the research. Following practical part focuses on collection of available information about the building, creation of drawing documentation, implementation and evaluation of personal pre-construction condition survey. Truss condition and causes of found defects are described, measures needed for truss preservation are suggested. Possible reconstruction options are discussed together with their suitability considering the detected condition, historical value of the feature and use of attic dispositions.
