The Presence of Silence in Human Lives and Relationships

This bachelor thesis deals with the presence of silence in human lives. The thesis concretely identifies the silence as a very important part of human lives because the silence helps people to find their spirituality. On the other hand this thesis says that people are afraid of silence because they don't know what could be found in the silence. In the first part of this thesis the conception of silence isspecified. In this part there is also the quality of silence important for human spirituality discussed. This part is also engaged in the development of silence in monasteries where silence is often used. The experience of st. Benedict are especially mentioned. The other part of this thesis is aimed to the fear of silence. It also describes the possibilities how to reduce this fear and how to work with silence in our lives. The applied part of this thesis introduces the own experience of the author with silence in The Silence cafeteria and in the Trappist monastery. It also presents several dialogues about human relation to silence.
Intrapsychic conflicts and their experiencing during the regulation of activity and behavior

This bachelor thesis examines internal conflicts and their effect on inner experience and behaviour. The theoretical part of the thesis involves the description of the basic characteristics of conflict based on their content and categorisation; emotional, cognitive and behavioural components that contribute towards the creation of conflict; the dynamics of conflict and the possibilities of the regulation of the resulting tension. The goals of our work are to depict the impact of the internal conflict on the human mind and to identify the various approaches to conflict resolution. We have suggested dividing the intervention techniques into two main categories -direct and indirect techniques. In the empirical part of the thesis, we compare the effectiveness of such techniques in a form of an experiment. The participants are divided into the experimental groups according to the intervention technique applied. The measurements before and after the intervention will be evaluated with regards to the extension and severity of the internal conflict. Verification of the Kuhlthau's Information Search Process Model in the Environment of the Czech Republic

The thesis focuses on Kuhlthau's Information Search Process Model. Firstly, the author explains Kuhlthau's model of information retrieval and seeking meaning of information from user's perspective. Results of the model are the uncertainty principle and mediation - findings which change our view of library services. In the second part of the thesis, the author introduces other research texts and manuals about writing a scientific text. She pays special attention to Jadwiga Šanderová's comprehensive manual which is called How to read and write a scientific text in social sciences, and to stylistics research text by Světla Čmejrková et al. called How to write down a scientific text. Thirdly, the author evaluates the survey which verifies Kuhlthau's model in the environment of the Czech Republic. The survey has taken place among postgraduate students, teachers and scientists from chosen universities in the Czech Republic

The thoughts and behaviors of the Vietnamese entrepreneurs about the economical market

This bachelor thesis is going to mention about the development of the Vietnamese economy; a general analysis and evaluation the situation of Vietnamese business people in both domestic and foreign markets as well as how traditional culture affects their business decision making. This work will go through two main parts. The first one is theoretical, which provides not just basic information about Vietnam and its culture aspect but also some certain suggestions while communicating and doing business with Vietnamese people. During this part we are going to talk about the way how Vietnamese people think about the market; which are their favorite industries which not with the reasons behind and their motivation in doing business. The second part will be the practical part which covering the analysis of the survey research and the results received.
Qualitative research of mental representation of " body", "emotions" and "mind" by musical gifted personalities in the reflection of imaginative methods

The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to explore what mental representations of ?body?, ?emotion? and ?mind? occur in music oriented personalities. In the theoretical part I will deal with topics of personality, character, physical constitution theory, emotion, thought, consciousness and the unconscious mental representation. A qualitative approach was used for research in which the grounded theory and open interviews was used. The method of data collection will take place through imagination exercises and in-depth interviews.
Thoughts of Plants

This diploma thesis called "Thoughts of Plants" consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on an explanation of the basic thoughts and inspiration that comprise the main resources for the practical part in my thesis. In context of this thesis subject, there is a documentation of the main points in the current art scene, which deals with plant and landscape detail. The practical part is composed of the monumental triptych connected to the subject. This triptych is made of acrylic paint on canvas.
