Comparison of subsidies in sport and physical education in Pardubice and Hradec Kralove in 2014

Title: Comparison of subsidies in sport and physical education in Pardubice and Hradec Kralove in 2014 Objectives: The main aim of this diploma thesis verifies the functioning of the redistribution mechanisms, which redistribute public funds in the sport field, as one of the areas to which funds from public budgets are directing. The partial aim of the thesis makes the financial expenditures and the structure in sport and physical education out of the public budgets in the Czech Republic in 2014 clear. Another of the partial Objectives of the work determines, above all by describing the analysis of specific subsidy expenditures on sport from municipal budgets and SWOT analysis, the amount of the total expenditure on sport in both cities and finding possible pitfalls of financing. Methods: Descriptive analysis methods, which draw on the main part of the analysis of secondary sources (data), are used in the thesis. It examined and compared the state of sports subsidies in regional cities in 2014. The results of this method were used in the following comparison (comparison) of both regional cities. The role of the region in sport development - Case study of Liberec region

Title: The role of the region in sport development - Case study of Liberec region Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is set to analyse the role of the region bodies of authority in sport development illustrated by a concrete example of the Liberec region. A partial objective is to describe and analyse tools of the regional sport policy and to analyse regional budget sport financing. Methods: There was used the case study design in the diploma thesis to find out the situation of sport policy in Liberec region. Informations were collected from the documents, which are available in public and from internal documents. For data collection there was also used a method of semi - structured interview. Content analysis of documents and interviews was used for the evaluation. Then the SWOT analysis was worked up. Results: In the thesis, the most important tools of the Liberec region sport policy were described. The regional budget was allocated to sport the most funds in 2008, when the amount exceeds 120 million CZK. This fact was affected by organizing international sport events in the Liberec region. The present rigorousum thesis ponders the issues of organizing of sport financing in the Czech Republic and in selected European countries. The issue at hand is very recent, not only due to the existence of new central administrative office, but also due to the attention of media, which is increasingly focusing on the financing of sport in the Czech Republic. The present rigorousum thesis is divided into 5 chapters. Firstly, I deal with the state administration in the field of sport and the tasks of individual subjects. I present a new central administrative authority with the power to support sport, namely the National Sports Agency. In this study I also describe the legal regulation of sport support and its practical functioning. Since, organizational support of sport derives its power from legal regulation and individual powers of central administrative authorities. In the second chapter I deal with public and private sources of support for sport. I explain in detail the pitfalls of the subsidy procedure, which the applicant must go through when obtaining subsidy funds, and I propose a more effective solution. Application of the tax assignation in case of financing sport of the Czech republic in 2010-2015

The bachelor thesis Use of the purposeful determination of taxes on the case of financing the sport of the Czech Republic in the period 2010 to 2015 focuses on the issue of financing of sport and concrete options for the diversification of financing in the form of tax assignments. In the theoretical part is outlined how the financing of sport and the tax system of the Czech Republic is set. The topic of tax assignments including a concrete bill for the Czech legislation, which was created for the purposes of this work is discussed in more detail here. In the second part the impacts of tax assignments are quantified in the form of feedback analysis for selected years 2010 to 2015. This part assumes that tax assignments would bring additional funding to Czech sport, which is subsequently discussed in a discussion part with possible consequences and impacts in a concrete implementation.

Aspects of financing tennis under Czech Tennis Association patronage

Subject of this work is an analysis of selected aspects of financing tennis in the Czech Republic. The description focuses primarily on related legislative, institutional, political, financial and economic aspects. Financing issues caused by Sazka a.s. crisis are taken into account. Furthermore, the work introduces differences among the Czech Republic and Great Britain, USA and Australia in this matter, on which credentials for the Czech tennis financial coverage should be made.
