SLAVKOV - REVITALISATION OF BONAPARTE CENTER

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a multifunctional complex consisting of the existing Bonaparte restaurant building and new outbuildings on the neighboring parcel located in Slavkov u Brna in the urban conservation area in the immediate vicinity of the castle grounds. The newly created complex provides the necessary missing public functions at the level of contemporary standards. It offers an answer to the concept of neoplasm in the historical environment and its interaction in the context of the second part - a reconstructed historical building. The multifunctional complex of both buildings should provide classrooms for elementary art school, restaurant, social hall, library, information center, public toilet, seniors / youth club or maternity center, polyfunctional spaces for rent, spaces for dental surgery.

Housing for Seniors - Křenovice

The main purpose was to find an ideal solution for the area in the village Křenovice u Slavkova and to design housing for seniors. The surrounding of the parcel offers us a fairly good functional amenitie and good accessibility. Within walking distance are restaurants, a patisserie, a post office, a municipal office and a general practitioner, as well as sports facilities. The proximity of these features is a great asset especially for people with reduced mobility. Another attractive aspect is the easy accessibility of the surrounding countryside. Urban design is mainly based on the idea of natural human movement and perception of space. A person likes certain order, but on the other hand, the human eye can easily be deceived, so we can disturb the terrain of the receding facade, but the human eye will still perceive space as a street. On the other hand, i tis also importan to break the strčit geometry and give the place a pinch of nature. In the case of a design, it is an artificially created pond in the center of the territory. There are main pedestrian ways to get to both the railway station, the municipal office, the village center, kindergarten, etc. The territory is generally divided into two parts – housing for seniors, which is situated in a quieter part of the territory behind the municipal and to the social part, which is situated in the noisy areas. The architectural solution is trying to remind the folk architecture, which thanks to the large construction of the typified houses disappeared, mainly due to suburbanization. It was necessary to focus on the elements and features of folk architecture that are typical of the Křenovice area and then re-shape them according to their feelings into modern architecture. Three types of buildings are proposed for housing: House No. 1, House No. 2, House No.3, and café-cinema.

Design of Modernization of Slavkov u Brna Railway Station

This thesis deals with the project of modernization of Slavkov u Brna railway station. The main aim is to draft adjustments of the platforms to fulfil the requirements for the movement of people with reduced mobility. To decide which kind of platform is possible to build. Also to plan the adjustments to track bed and platforms taking into consideration what the customer of railway operation had ordered. To draft reconstruction taking into consideration how old and worn-out permanent way and substructure is, with the posibility to increasing track speed.

Slavkov bypass, MÚK Holubice - MÚK Slavkov south

The subject of the thesis is processing of the technical study bypass of the city Slavkov u Brna. Design deals with the relaying of the existing road I/50 in the section from village Holubice to Slavkov. The reason for building the bypass is high traffic intenisty and unsatisfactory transport technical parameters. The road also passes through an existing development, which has a negative impact on the health of the population. The road is designed in road category S21,5/110. Thesis also includes design of the three grade-separated junctions, one of them is processed in two options.

The diploma thesis in the form of a technical study deals with the design of the bypass of the town Slavkov u Brna in the section between Slavkov and Bučovice. The town is currently congested with transit traffic and the capacity of the existing road is almost exhausted. The design of the bypass will increase the safety and flow of traffic in the area of interest. The work includes two grade-separated junction, one of which is processed in two options.

Olšaníková, M. Economics Benefits from Tourism in Austerlitz. Bachelor thesis. Brno: PEF Mendel University, 2018. This bachelor thesis deals with the economic benefits of tourism in the town Aus-terlitz. It uses the cash flow summaries of the town and statistic data of the popu-larity of this town. A questionnaire was created to gain visitor’s feedback of the quality of the offered services. The result of this bachelor thesis is the recommen-dation to improve the cash flow and increase the attractiveness of the city for tourists.

Předprojektová příprava obnovy památky krajinářské architektury

The aim of this thesis is to describe the individual parts of the pre-project preparation for restoration monument of landscape architecture in the model area of the chateau garden in Austerlitz. The key document of the work is the methodology Architektonicko-historický průzkum památky krajinářské architektury by Krejčiřík, Pejchal and Pavlačka (2015). Within this methodology there also used sectional methodologies Dendrologický průzkum v zámeckém parku (Pejchal, 1995, Machovec, 1976, Kolařík, 1994 in Janíková, 2015), Vybrané otázky hodnocení vegetačních prvků (Pejchal, 2005) and the methodology used in the previous dendrologic survey (Janíková, 2011) was also followed. The contribution of this thesis is testing of a new methodology for the monuments of landscape architecture, especially the basic document for this garden, which has not been developer yet. It is the basis on which the next phase of the project documentation can be built.
