Extension of the magnetic manipulator teaching model using a microcontroller for independent operation
Štupák, Jakub ; Králík, Jan (referee) ; Appel, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design, control and user interface for a magnetic manipulator. Created magnetic manipulator uses three electromagnets, which are used to control the position of a steel ball. The objective of this work was to enhance and extend the functionality of this system, including adding the ability for autonomous operation. Regulation can be executed through either an externally connected HUMUSOFT card or an integrated microcontroller. This enables the use of this system without external hardware and simplifies manipulation. Communication between the system and user is enabled with the use of the ESP32 Bluetooth functionality and an Android app.
Realization and testing of communication bus between device with OS Android and microcontroller using USB/RS232 converter
Kopčil, Tomáš ; Appel, Martin (referee) ; Brablc, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the communication bus between Android OS-based device and the PIC microcontroller. The theoretical part presents required utilities and developement environments for setting up this communication. The practical part focuses on putting the communication bus into practice and testing its capabilities. Two applications were set up to demonstrate the data transfer: an application providing access to the regulation of motor position and an information display for a segway-type transporter.

Simulink model code generation for motor control applications
Otava, L.
This article is focused on the embedded software development using code generation. C-code is generated from Simulink model. Article describes hardware interface of Simulink model for AC motor control applications code generation. Results are presented on platform with ARM Cortex-M4 micro-controller, inverter and permanent magnet synchronous machine. Measurements of speed control loop on a real machine are presented and utilization of used micro-controller are discussed in conclusion.
