Elements of Don bosko's preventive system at the Salesian centre

This thesis deals with the elements of Don Bosco's preventive system and the ways in which they are applied by employees in a particular Salesian center. The first part of this thesis deals with the education of Don Bosco and the historical development of the activities of the Salesians up to the present time. In next part the Salesians center in Pilsen is presented and the questions and aim of the research survey is clarified. In the practical part, the analysis of the interviews with the staff of the center takes place on the basis of predetermined questions concerning the pillar of religion of Don Bosco's preventive system.

Progress and long time effects of the animation as a method of work with adolescents

Diploma thesis "The course and long-term effects of animation as a method of working with adolescents" deals with the methods of working with endangered youth in the field and in the low-threshold facility for children and youth. It represents the reflection of the development of the methodology of the work of a particular organization in the Vltava housing estate in České Budějovice in the perspective of six years, when the author also worked here with a break. This time perspective makes it possible to help assess whether and to what extent the chosen approach appears to be effective. Above all, it allows to monitor the development of clients' life paths during a sensitive period from adolescence to adulthood. The potential of animation over other guiding and prevention systems can be to focus on activation, respect for life situations and the needs of clients, which are largely developmental, but also reflects social and psychological deficits in specific individual cases as well as in group life. Phenomenologically and ethnographically oriented research follows the previous author's qualification work and monitors the development of the contact center client community in the context of workers' suggestions and spontaneous life events. Preventive activities in the context of social work with youth at risk and their implementation in the Salesian Youth Center´s Low-Threshold facility in České Budějovice.

The diploma thesis is focused on preventive activities in the context of social work with youth at risk and their implementation in NZDM (low-threshold facility for children and youth) at SaSM-DDM ČB (Salesian Centre for youth-children and youth centre in České Budějovice). The aim of the thesis is based on research and on available literary sources to mapp the development of preventive activities in NZDM at SaSM-DDM ČB, their functionality and consequences in efficiency on social environment and social functionality of clients of NZDM. The research was carried out by a qualitative method, using semistructured interviews. In the thesis, there is the term "low-threshold" specified, focusing on the NZDM. The thesis defines the topic of prevention of social failure and of preventive activities directed from employers towards employees. The work also presents the social pathological phenomena that occur in the target group of NZDM at SaSM-DDM ČB. Also, the target group of NZDM at SaSM-DDM ČB is discussed in the context of its life situation. Finally, there are ethical dilemmas related to preventive activities or the legal obligation of NZDM. Almost the entire period of function of the NZDM at SaSM-DDM ČB was mapped in this thesis and it was concluded that the preventive activities are still developing and responding to the needs of clients.

Education and training according to the principles of Salesian pedagogy

The bachelor thesis aims to present the Salesians starting with the founder of the fiary, and the leader, Jan Bosko. The major salesian propositions are closely linked with Bosko, therefore the first chapter is concentrated on Bosko´s life and work. The second and the third chapters turn once again to history, this time the author deals with Salesian worldwide activities as well as describing first and following years of the fiary in Czechoslovakia and afterwards in the Czech Republic. The inthroned political conditions before 1989 had very big impact on religion, fairies and their activities. Together with the description of the situation before 1989 the second chapter describes Salesian evolution in Czechoslovakia and in the Czech Republic after the Velvet revolution. The substance of the thesis is concentrated in the fourth chapter which deals with the main points of Salesian pedagogy, its methodology and the use possibilities. After performing the history, the final chapter shows the Salesian fiary as a very actual fiary concerning pedagogical activities. With realisation the importance of alternative pedagogical styles the Salesians are becoming more popular or at least they are goal of our curiosity.

Social exclusion and its economic and legal aspects
Summary
The aim of this paper work was to evaluate the application of the laws concerning the impal of social exclusion of children and teenagers from special locations. The next drift was to map out the influence of the center Štěpán Trochta on one group of socially excluded children and teenagers from the housing quartem in Teplice Prosetice, which is known for high criminality of teenagers and big concentration of socially deprived people. The target was also to find out if it helps children to easily incorporate to school attendance, to get over difficulties and disadvantage caused by the background they live in.
Qualitative research as well as structured and half structured dialogue, observation and examination of documents was applied to this paper work. Analyzing all the facts led to summarize the results and their evaluation.
Social exclusion is a phenomena we pay more and more attention the last few years. The main priority is to solve the situation of children and teenagers who are socially excluded. If we don´t help them to improve their situation and we don´t influence thein behavior for future, they will automatically behave as their own parents and they will never extricate from the life in excluded environment. Otherwise these locations won´t be disolved, on the citrany there will be more of them. One of the possible solution is the establishment of new low cost centers and free time centers with connection of targeted complex assistance for families living in social excluded places. The research part of this paperwork mapped out the activities and the impal of these activities on inclusion of children and teenagers into every day life.

Personal marketing strategy in the Salesian Youth Center.

This thesis deals with the internal HR marketing strategy in the Salesian Youth Center - Center for Children and Youth in České Budějovice. The theoretical part deals with topics like volunteers, volunteer motivation, personal marketing and personal marketing strategies in non-profit organizations. It provides personal marketing strategy in the certain organization and tries to make possible improvements to the current strategy by the qualitative research. The qualitative research was conducted by using semi-structured interviews with volunteers.

Integration of the Roma Population in Leisure Time as Prevention of Socio-Pathological Phenomena

This bachelor thesis deals with issues of integrating the Roma population into educational processes as part of prevention of socio-pathological phenomena and highlights problems with the exclusion of the minority population. The theoretical part discusses Roma's origin, history and migration both in Europe and the Czech Republic. Additionally, it defines their identity and the development of positive identity, which is an important component in their integration. The thesis further scrutinizes suitable leisure-time activities. The practical part analyzes the project prepared by Prague 14 addressing free-time activities of unorganized Roma children as prevention of socio-pathological phenomena.
