Software Defined Home Automation
Stupka, Dominik ; Brejl,, Milan (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis is about development and construction of systems for building automation. At the beginning it´s focused on usage of building automation. Short describe used topology of installation and available systems on the market. The second chapter is about designing of hardware’s elements systems. Then it’s describing control unit Raspberry Pi 3, microprocessors for communication and slave modules. For my thesis I am also engaged in interface communication and designing of I/O systems. The third and fourth chapter is describing software equipment’s of the system. The parts of microprocessor firmware and manner of control logic creating and visualization in control unit module are described in details. Last chapter contains the description of construction of testing module and measuring of system parameters.
ARM Remote debugging over industrial bus.
Skalický, Jakub ; Jílek, Tomáš (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This semestral thesis is concerned on facilities of using DebugMonitor exception for debugging software which run on ARM Cortex-M4. The comunnication between debugged software and debugging master is implemented via CAN bus. The result is support for debugging without special debugging equipment. For support of this type of debug this thesis implemented code library called SDebug. It's managing parts of Cortex-M4 core, which are userd for debug.
CAN sniffer
Skalický, Jakub ; Jílek, Tomáš (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with creating CAN Bus sniffer witch sending data to PC by Ethernet. The main parts of developed PCB are microcontroller SMT32F407VGT6 by STMicroelectronics and Ethernet PHY KSZ8051MLL. In theoretical part you can find ARM and STM32F407VGTE information followed by Ethernet and UDP protocol introduction. The end of theoretical part is about CAN bus. Practical part is about design of board, developing it and measuring parameters of board. The end part of this thesis describes changes of software. Firstly there are described changes of firmware for add support of CanShark board. Followed is described adding of new functionality of canshark-gui PC application.
Strip thickness measurement device
Vitoslavský, Ondřej ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This work deals with the design of software capable of operating individual components of measuring equipment and acquaintance with these components. These components are analog-digital converter AD7175-2, digital-analog converter DAC8563 and LCD BC- 1602A-YPLEH. It also deals with communication via the Modbus with superior PLC, which has the ability to read data from the measuring device and control the device to a certain extent.
Adaptive control of small brewery
Kalivoda, Jakub ; Jelínek, Aleš (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
This final thesis deals with adaptive control of small brewery. Contains a short description of brewing technology and adaptive control. Includes design of small brawery and control system based on STM32F407 Cortex-M4 microcontroller. For online identification is used Recursive Least Squares Method. The controller function perform a modified PSD controller with filtered derivative component, reducing the first overshot and dynamic antiwindup. The proposed adaptive controller is implemented into microcontroller. Created device i used for semi-automatic beer production.
Modelling and Implementation of Control System for 3D Printer
Ševčík, Martin ; Pohl, Lukáš (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
The content of the thesis is the modeling and implementation of the CNC control algorithm. This master thesis contains the description of issues of computer-controlled machines, the research of interpolation algorithms for control CNC machines and the modeling of the selected control algorithm with motor S-curve shaped speed profiles and simulation of chosen algorithms with S-shaped speed profiles in Matlab & Simulink.
Universal ethernet module
Řeháček, Tomáš ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with creating a universal module with Ethernet interface and its using for digital values measurement. The main module components are gate array FPGA, microprocessor, PHY chip and RJ45 connector. Printed circuit board is in this thesis designed in Eagle. The chase for board is drawn in SketchUp and printed on a 3D printer. There is a code implemented in created universal module that is performing the function of logic analyzer. Data measured by the analyzer are sent to the Ethernet using UDP/IPv4 protocol. The last part is creating an application in C# to display the measured waveforms on a PC.
Multichannel Audio Signal Transmission Over Local Area Network
Kotouček, Filip ; Frenštátský, Petr (referee) ; Schimmel, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of multi-channel audio signal streaming via local network. The aim was to choose suitable processor for the transmission of up to 32 channels of audio signal, which will be used for implementation. Also the low-latency ASIO driver was studied and was used to provide timestamps for synchronization. The transmission protocol was designed for signaling and for the real time stream. The actual transmission is provided by TCP protocol. In conclusion, I created the application for development board with choosen MCU. Finally whole solution was tested with real data.
3D LED cube
Rak, Jan ; Jílek, Tomáš (referee) ; Florián, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this project is to design and construct a LED cube for visualization and imaging attract attention. With respect to the assignment was determined resolution 8x8x8. For the overall management and communication with the PC was chosen development board STM32F4 Discovery, which, thanks to it parameters, is sufficient for this application. Cube consisting of diodes and power wires will sit on the governing board, which will include all parts of management and communication, including the controller power supply. The board will be covered by colored fabric for a better look.
Sound source localization
Vélim, Jan ; Brejl, Milan (referee) ; Fedra, Zbyněk (advisor)
The paper discusses a possibility of localization of a sound source inside a wooden beam. The method is based on measuring signals from two microphones, assuming the sound source lies between the microphones. The position of the sound source is calculated from the delay between the signals. The calculation of the delay is done by correlation of the signals in the frequency range. ARM architecture microcontroller is used to for the calculations.
