Slip factor of the hydrodynamic pumps
Duda, Petr ; Archalous, Jakub (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
Bachelor thesis contains basic information about the hydrodynamic pumps. It describes the specific energy for an infinite number of very thin blade and following corrections to the finite number of blades. Part of this work is dedicated to all-weather resulting in Blade to blade channel and their effect on specific energy pump. There are illustrated by calculations of correction factors of individual authors and finally corrections are made on real three impeller wheels with a comparison of different methods.
Design of Savonius wind turbine
Sedlačko, Jozef ; Mastný, Petr (referee) ; Morávek, Jan (advisor)
Power engineering ranks among faster growing industries of power production by renewable resources in the last decade. Savonius rotor, as small wind source, was subjected to research and innovation like other wind power sources. This thesis is concerns proposal and realization of Savonius rotor for lab purpose. In the first part, its principle and characteristics are mentioned. Second part concerns mathematical proposal of measurements and geometry. The last part of the thesis consists of measuring and evaluation of basic parameters of this type of rotor.
