Recovery Plan for Europe in Response to the Covid Crisis

This diploma thesis is focused on the Recovery Plan for Europe, which is also sometimes called NextGenerationEU. This is one of the measures which were taken at the European Union level in response to the coronavirus crisis and its consequences in order to support the economic recovery of the EU Member States. The main aim of the diploma thesis is to analyse the legal- economic aspects of the EU instrument adopted under the title Recovery Plan for Europe, or also NextGeneration EU, and its functioning. The diploma thesis is divided into two large sections. The first one consists of parts 1 to 3 and the second one of parts 4 and 5. The first descriptive-analytical section initially describes the macroeconomic principles of crises and possible response steps to them so that it could be explained how, especially in the fiscal area, it is possible to react to crises from which economies cyclically suffer, taking the specificities of the European Union into account. Afterwards, the traditional EU fiscal instruments, in particular the Multiannual Financial Framework and the EU budget, are described and the extent to which these instruments can be used to respond to crisis situations, such as the coronavirus crisis, is analysed. The impacts of the coronavirus crisis are also subject to a brief discussion....
The Construction of Humpolec - Hadina Rest Area Using The EU Funds

The master´s thesis is aimed at the European Union points at issue and to this related European funds that can be the source of finances for the establishment of the leisure zone in Humpolec. The aim of the thesis is to project the financing for the establishment of a leisure zone at the “Hadina” pond surroundings with the aim to adapt the surrounding to various free time activities as well as to an active use by the inhabitants of all generations.

Korduliaková, L., Financial transaction tax as a new own resource of European Union budget. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2017. The aim of the diploma thesis is to estimate the value of financial transactions tax revenues as a new possible own resource of EU budget. First part of the diploma thesis focuses on the theoretical aspects of financial transaction tax and defines the political and economic aspects leading to the creation of a concept of financial transaction tax. An important part is the comprehensive theoretical interpretation of this tax. The conclusion of the theoretical part is devoted to the international experience with taxation and evaluation of the impact of taxation. In practical part, the methodology of estimating potential revenues for the 11 Member States of the European Union is based on modeling. For the purpose of analyzing the suitability of the financial transaction tax as a potential candidate for the own resource, a multi criteria analysis is carried out.
The budget of EU and influance on czech budgetary policy

This thesis deals with character and functioning of European Union's budget with focus on explanation of functioning of revenue and expenditure system and its influence on budget of Czech Republic. The first capitol applies to basic principles and development of the budget in time. The second capitol concerns with revenue side of the budget, with development of revenue resources and evaluation revenue system according to several criteria. The third capitol describes todays setting of union expenditures, which basically represent priorities of common politics of EU. The last capitol deals with describing of influences on Czech Republic, which come from obligation to take part in filling of revenues of the budget, and benefits result from possibility to draw subsidies from EU's expenditures. The thesis tries to describe direct influence of subsidies on Czech budget in field of transport infrastructure, of which development and support is one of goals of cohesion politic.

Absorption capacity analysis of the town Soběslav

The main topic of this thesis is the depletion of financial resources from the European Union (EU) funds and their effectiveness (focused on the programming period 2007-2013, resp. 2014-2020). The theoretical part is dedicated to the definition of the term "absorption capacity" and the regional policy and related aspects. The regional policy of the EU is described as well as various tools of the regional policy that are applied in the Czech Republic and the EU. The thesis deals with structural policy that comes from the regional policy. The thesis also includes the budget structure of the EU. The practical part is focused on the introduction of the town of Soběslav and its budget preparation. Simultaneously, it includes information about the depletion of the town Soběslav from resources of EU and national resources. The questionnaire was prepared about EU funds projects which have been already realized in Soběslav and about others planned for programming period 2014 2020. Questions were consulted with secretery of the municipal authority of Soběslav. According to answers, the management of the town Soběslav was evaluated. Finally, the suggestion for the two projects of EU funds is covered in this thesis and the occassion of the depletion financial resources from Norway grants.
Position of the reunited Germany in the EU budget

The aim of this thesis is to explain the position of Germany and its federal states in the European Union budget. The thesis analyses the macroeconomic conditions of the reunited Germany. Simultaneously, it also describes the current competitiveness of Germany by analysing the Global Competitiveness Index, measured by the World Economic Forum. The resulting analysis is applied to the budget of the European Union, its revenues and expenditures from the perspective of Germany and its federal states. Great emphasis is placed on the persisting differences between the old and the new federal states.
EU budget and financial ties to the budget system in the Czech Republic, evaluation of the example selected operating program

This thesis analyses the EU budget in relation with the budgetary system in the Czech republic. The theoretical part deals with EU budgetary politics, the Czech state budget and the local budgets in the Czech republic in general. Both cooperation and effectivness of the structural funds are evaluated in the analytical part of the thesis on the basis of the project co-funded by the Regional Operating Program NUTS II North-East. The analytical part consists of the questionnaire survey too, whose results show the actual needs and problems of the inhabitants. All the text was filled in the graphs and tables.
