Design of motorized optical system used for focusing of a laser beam
Zobač, Evžen ; Novotný, Karel (referee) ; Novotný, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the structural and optomechanical design of automatization of focusing laser beam for a remote laser spectroscopy device. The chosen solution uses an active rangefinder and a rotary unit to control the change of the focus plane of the device's optic system. The dependence of the focus plane’s change on the shift of lens in the focus plane was practically measured. For proper control of the rotary unit, this dependency is needed. Structural parts were made based on the created drawing documentation. The structural parts were mounted in the existing assembly of the device together with the purchased components. The proposed solution enables a change of the optical system, for example, in order to obtain a more appropriate range of focal planes.

Boxplot for multivariate data
Brabenec, Tomáš ; Nagy, Stanislav (advisor) ; Hlávka, Zdeněk (referee)
We will introduce three methods of extension of the classical Tukey's Boxplot for multivariate data. These are the Rangefinder, the Relplot and the Bagplot. To implement the methods, we will need the notions like Mahalanobis distance, elliptically symmetric distributions and halfspace depth. A big part of the thesis is focused on the construction of the Relplot and the Bagplot. We will also discuss, how do these methods detect outliers and what are their advantages and disadvantages. This work contains many examples and illustrating images. 1
Object detection and tracking
Fejfar, Petr ; Obdržálek, David (advisor) ; Bureš, Tomáš (referee)
This work focuses on object recognition and tracking by using laser range finder sensor. The topic examines various solutions proposed by other authors and analyzes the issue as a whole. The application of the task then takes place in a robot competition, which is used as a reference problem and solved subsequently. Port solutions are emphasized over PC platform solutions. The basis of the solution utilizes the principle of Kalman filters and the identification of objects by their position and speed. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Object detection and tracking
Fejfar, Petr ; Obdržálek, David (advisor) ; Plch, Tomáš (referee)
This paper focuses on object detection and tracking with the help of laser range finder sensor. The paper investigates other author's way of solving similar problems and analysis the problem as it is. The application of the task of robot competition is chosen as the reference problem which is solved as follows. The possible port solution for the non-PC platforms is emphasized. The basis of the solution is built on the idea of Kalman's filters and the identification of the objects acording to their position and speed. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
