iOS Client Interface for Production Scheduling System
Tomala, Tomáš ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create mobile application for iOS operating system, which will serve as an interface to access PlannerLoop service. The PlannerLoop production scheduling system targets mainly smaller manufacturing companies that cannot afford to invest large sums in automated production scheduling tools. The client application of this service ensures the acquisition of the necessary user data, which it processes and sends to the computing server provided by the service. The user entered operations are scheduled by the service and placed by the client application on a timeline in the schedule, where it is possible to manipulate the operations.
Statistic Evaluation of Manufacture Schedules
Andraško, Pavol ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
It is not easy to uphold a manufacturing enterprise in today’s market, that is full of competition and yet remain in profit. The main focus of these enterprises is production and that is closely linked to its planning and scheduling. A good production schedule can have a great impact on business. On one hand, it may cause some unnecessary costs, but on the other hand, it can save resources that might be used in another area. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find the best production schedule. In this thesis I have offered some statistical indicators, using those I seek to objectively evaluate the quality of the production schedule. The outcome of this work is a set of statistical quality indicators of production schedules and program (implemented in the information system MES PHARIS), which receives input data of the production, calculates the values of the statistical indicators and then the calculated results are displayed graphically.
Advanced Techniques for Integer Optimization Problems
Liška, Ondřej ; Popela, Pavel (referee) ; Kůdela, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis deals with integer optimization on real data. Solved problem is production planning. Problem is descripted in first part of thesis. Next is obtained its optimization model. In second part are obtained solution methods for this problem. On the end are those methods compared in term of its solution quality.
Introduction to Six Sigma Method and its Application for Process Improvements
Joska, Jakub ; Žák, Libor (referee) ; Bednář, Josef (advisor)
First part of the thesis deals with the description of Six sigma method and its most commonly used methodology DMAIC. The second part is a brief introduction of specific practical problem - electroforming. The third part describes the statistical tools used to solve the given task, especially the Pearson's chi-squared test of independence. The last part of the thesis contains a summary of data, calculation itself and data analysis results.
Mathematical Modeling of Problems of Production Planning
Poláchová, Zuzana ; Machala, Ondřej (referee) ; Bobalová, Martina (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on the optimization of production planning using MS Excel. It includes a proposal for extension of the Solver add-in user friendly features that facilitate the optimization of business processes.
Production Planning with the Support of Information System
Dvořák, Pavel ; Marvánek, Karel (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
This thesis deals with adding planning to the current information system as requirement by the company. The theoretical part describes the methodes of information systems for the production plan. These tools are mostly general and trying to cover the entire spectrum of manufacturing processes. The practical part is devoted to implementing of the produciton planning. The modul planning is incorporated into the current information system. The modul planning has been implementing for efficiency of the systemand faster throughput of the orders the company.
The Use of Artificial Intelligence for Optimization of Production
Svoboda, Radovan ; Martinec, Petr (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
This paper deals with the problem of optimization of a production plan by using genetic algorithms. It contains a brief overview of the principles behind genetic algorithms in scope of evolutionary algorithms and artificial intelligence in general. It also takes a closer look on the challenge of production planning and control and all activities connected to it. This is followed by description of the modification of genetic algorithms that needed to be done in order to implement it into a computer program, which is used to create and optimize the production plan, and is a result to the issue that this paper deals with. Incorporated is detailed escription of principles and functions of the program, that it offers to its users.
The Study of Operational Production Management in Selected Firm
Polívka, Pavel ; Tesař, Rostislav (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This thesis deals with operative production management in a chosen company. In the theoretical part of the study are explained the terms of production, production management, operative production management and production planning. This is followed by a brief description and characteristics of a chosen entrepreneurial subject that deals with production of automatic door systems for rail vehicles. The next part of the thesis is aimed at evaluation of operative production management of door leaves current condition with focus on manufacturing programme, production system and production process organisation. Because of the most severe lack of current condition there is an up-to-date analysis in the field of production planning and material flow in time. Based on this analysis there is a sketch of three theoretical approaches to solutions. In the final part of the thesis a brief evaluation of assets and conditions of solutions realization is carried out and there is a recommendation for production management of the company.
Using of Discrete Event Simulation in a Production Planning
Shylin, Ivan ; Chadima, Libor (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
Diploma thesis is dealing with the possibility of use of discrete event simulations in a production planning. The connection of the work measurement and the production planning is described. The thesis describes the modeling methodology, design and realization of the experiment with the model. The production planning part describes the processing of the data generated from the model, which are further used to demonstrate the planning method and optimization of the production plan.
Shop Floor Scheduling in Discrete Parts Manufacturing
Vágner, Ladislav ; Boček, Aleš (referee) ; Simeonov, Simeon (advisor)
Master´s thesis analyses the current state of the production scheduling in a manufacturing company in the automotive industry. It describes the setup system management of the module Advanced Production Planning by Helios Orange program, which company uses. This thesis introduces a new process of order and describes procedures for control of this module. Two essential steps of this new process were tested – creation of production orders and scheduling of production batches. In the end of the master´s thesis there are estimated financial savings after the implementation of the new process production scheduling.
