The System of Process Audits for Medical Industry

The Master’s thesis deals with the area of conducting process audits in a large multinational corporation focused on manufacturing and distribution of medical devices, which has a subsidiary in the Czech Republic. The thesis discusses the analysis of the current set up of the internal audits‘ system in the corporation and there are changes of the quality system being proposed on the basis of the analysis, whose aim is to achieve a full compliance with the requirements of the US administration FDA, the standard ISO 13485 as well as the recent requirements on performing process audits. The emphasis is also put on the setting of the system such that it provides the highest possible added value for its users, can be easily implemented in practice and is flexible as well.
Utilisation of analyses of human resource management systems for the development of non-profit organisations

This thesis explains how personnel audits and parts of procedural audits that are focusing on personnel management can be used and optimised in non-governmental organisations (NGOs). All these processes are part of civil society and engagement in the form of volunteering. There is an emphasis on the quality of the social services which are subject to audit. The empirical part of the thesis is based on questionnaire surveys and structured interviews and draws on the experience of auditors in the Czech Republic and of the NGOS in which the audits took place. It takes into account feedback from organisation staff and auditors. The key outputs are an overview of the benefits and limitations of personnel audits, together with a set of recommendations for NGO audit providers. The diploma thesis focuses on the theory of HR audit and conducting an HR audit in a real company. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis consists of explanation of terms audit and HR audit, descriptions od HR systems in organizations, descriptions of main tasks, duties and roles of HR department and brief description of the situation in the Czech Republic. It is then described in the practical part od the diploma thesis how the HR audit went, what all steps of conducting an HR audit were and what the conclusion and recommendations were.
Business Process Reengineering of ESN VŠE Prague – Buddy System and theirs support by information system

Diploma thesis is about business process reengineering (BPR) and its business processes in student organization ESN VSE Prague -- Buddy System. Main goal is business process reengineering and their support by information system BuddyIS, which helps to meet stu-dent's requirements. First chapter debates about processes theirs modelling and reengineer-ing. It discusses methodologies of BPR in general and then it chooses own methodology for this thesis. Next part is practical and starts with characteristic and analysis of student organization ESN VSE Prague -- Buddy System. It describes cultural environment, current status of IS/ICT and global process model. Global process model is core for next chapter, which identifies processes in organization and chooses those ones for reengineering. Those chosen processes are analysed more in detailed in detailed process diagram based on BPMN. Next part is considering process redesign based on awareness and understanding their workflow. According to redesign, proposed changes are implemented to information system BuddyIS based on principles of OpenUP. Last chapter analyses aftereffects caused by business process reengineering according to process audit made by M. Hammer (PEMM) and chosen factor measuring process performance. Fact that, chosen business processes are supported by information system BuddyIS is main benefit of this thesis.
