Optoelectronic sensor of polarization state of light from biological samples
Mikláš, Jan ; Brüstlová, Jitka (referee) ; Tománek, Pavel (advisor)
The living body tissues consist of cells which dimensions are bigger than a wavelength of visible light. Therefore a Mie scattering of reflected of backscaterred light occurs and different polarization states arise. The changes of polarization state due to the multiple scattering of light in the biological cellular tissues allow measure the aging of biological tissue. The reflected or backscattered polarized laser light exhibits multiple scattering on the sample surface and in its subsurface area.
Application of nanofiller in electroinsulating materials
Mohyla, Petr ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
This project deals with calculation parts of complex permittivity varnish samples which is filled by nanoparticles of metal oxides. Opening of this project deals with theory of dielectric and effects in dielectric, theory of compounds and expressions in composite systems. Following topic is theory of nanoparticles and nanotechnologies and summarize adjusted results about this branch of knowledge. In practical part of work is include method which was use to make varnish samples filled by nanoparticles, prepare to measurement methods and whole results of measurement. In the end of work is analysis influence of filler particles each filler types to dielectric material and results verified mixture mathematical expressions.
Simulation of dielectric materials absorption characteristics
Bačkovský, Pavel ; Novák, Vítězslav (referee) ; Křivík, Petr (advisor)
This projects deal with dielectric materials. Characterize definition of dielectric and polarization of dielectric. Shows dielectric relaxation. Specified conception dielectric absorption and interpreted them with DC voltage charging condensator. However, this thesis be engaged in simulation of this process. Output is simulation program of dielectric absorption characteristics for two relaxation mechanism.
Automated workplace for the direct current measurements
Plocr, Radek ; Frk, Martin (referee) ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (advisor)
The present thesis attempts at an overview of DC methods used for diagnosing electrical isolation systems. It investigates the problem of small currents and how to measure them. Part of the thesis deals with building a workstation designed for long-term monitoring of absorbing characteristics of dielectric materials and it also presents a layout of a workstation used for measuring recovery voltage. Both workplaces are computer-automated using the VEE Pro application provided by Hewlett-Packard. Tests were performed on both workstations and the obtained results were processed in a test report as specified under ČSN IEC 93. During the experiment, every effort was made to ensure and monitor the atmospheric conditions of the measuring process.
Design of circular polarized antenna for 2.4 GHz
Hase, Michal ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (referee) ; Láčík, Jaroslav (advisor)
In this thesis, I introduce two types of circularly polarized rectangular microstrip antennas at 2.44 GHz. First type has direct fed and the second has two inputs for fed. In first case is used a stub to make the frequency with minimum return loss and equal to the frequency with minimum axial ratio. In second case is use the power splitter to divide the wave in to two lines with phase shift 90° for feeding the patch. In this thesis is described, how to get the best results of Axial Ratio.
Minimizing the effect of interference on wireless network
Doležal, Jan ; Kyselák, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This thesis is concerned the technology with technologies of transfer through wireless devices. It is about possibilities of optimization of transfer in wireless net, especially of the reduction of interference influence. The first part is about theory and the standards development of wireless technology. There are methods and principles used in wireless technologies. The second part is a practical measuring and testing of an internal wireless net, with the emphasis being on the source of interference influence. Measuring was focused on interference between access points and was not about meteorological influence. It continues with theory and testing of interference of the microwave oven in our wireless net. Then, it is a practical demonstration of interference in an external environment. There are practical examples of interference between different providers’ nets on the same area and solutions to prevent or to cancel this interference. In next part of work the wireless net is parsed and described in a given territory. Here is described the way how to precede the reciprocal interference and eventually how this mutual disturbance suppress. Consequently, our net is optimized for customer growth and for today’s options of newer and more powerful components for wireless transfer. Finally there are two laboratory tasks. The first one is about practical measuring and testing of wireless net’s parameters and the second one is about simulation of wireless networks in the Opnet program.
Polarization mode dispersion
Turský, Aleš ; Dostál, Otto (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
The work deals with dispersive effects of single mode fibers. We learn about the chromatic dispersion, the main attention is paid to the Polarization Mode Dispersion. We clarify the root cause origin of the Polarization Mode Dispersion describing parameters and its effect on transmitted data. Further on, the works dedicates to measure methods of the Polarization Mode Dispersion which is the interferometric method or the POTDR method. We explain the ways of the PMD removal at contemporary optic routes and options of PMD compensation by using compensators of various types. There is also mentioned the possibility of profiting from the soliton transmission. The last chapter deals with measuring of a real optic route. It includes measured data and its evaluation due to the ITU-T demands.
Designing circularly polarized antenna for frequency band 2,4 GHz
Jiříček, Zbyněk ; Oliva, Lukáš (referee) ; Lukeš, Zbyněk (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused to design of a system with circularly polarized wave for frequency band 2.4 GHz. The thesis introduces question of the microwave antennas, matching circuits and circular polarization circuit. It also includes a design of a circuit for available chip antenna (2450AT45A100) measurement and its measuring with connected chip antenna. Design and measurement of a circular polarization circuit using available chip antennas are also included in this thesis.
The social-economic polarization in Czech Republic
Kozáková, Lucie ; Macháček, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Říhová, Gabriela (referee)
This thesis main topic is the social-economic polarization in Czech Republic and its development process within past two decades. The main aim is to define growth poles with positive social-economic development and peripheric areas with stagnating or negative development. Consequently the secondary aim of this thesis is to confirm or disprove hypothesis resulting from Myrdal's theory of cumulative causation: "Growth poles grow faster over time and conversly peripheric areas decline further over years." In next step growing and peripheric regions are described and the possible causes of develepment within this areas are interpreted. Leading theories of regional development focusing on social-economic growth polarization are described in the theoretical part. The emphasis is on core -- periphery theories with main focus on theory of cummulative causation by Gunnar Myrdal.
Polarization of Economic Growth in the European Union
Martincová, Eva ; Damborský, Milan (advisor) ; Říhová, Gabriela (referee)
The theme of diploma thesis "Polarization of Economic Growth in the European Union" belongs to fundamental issues of recent regionalistics. The main aim is to demark poles of economic growth and periphery areas within the EU territory. This aim is followed by hypothesis that "at recent economic circumstances, economic activities are concentrated in the central part of the EU". First part of the thesis focuses on theoretic approaches, including economic growth poles definition, finding general factors of economic attractiveness of the region, their evolution and yet known findings about concentration of economic growth in the EU in economic, social and environmental dimension. In the following practical part, the main economic, social and environmental indicators are established. Using these indicators, areas that feature strong polarization of economic growth and in opposite, areas that can be marked as periphery, are defined within the EU.
