Will refaunation by feral horse affect five checkerspot butterfly species (\kur{Melitaea} Fabricius, 1807) coexisting at xeric grasslands of Podyji National Park, Czech Republic?
VODIČKOVÁ, Veronika
This thesis focuses on the population structure of five frittilary butterfly species - Melitaea athalia, M. cinxia, M. didyma, M. britomartis and M. aurelia - co-occurring on two xeric grassland localities of the Podyjí National Park, Czech Republic - Havranické vřesoviště and Mašovická střelnice. Recently, both of these sites are threatened by succession and degradation processes. Due to that, they have been chosen for whole season grazing by a large herbivore (Exmoor pony). This study describes adult demography structure, adult mobility and adult habitat requirements of the five butterflies prior to the grazing management establishment.
Environmental Management of National Parks in CR: Assessment of Local Residents
Brožková, Hana ; Čihař, Martin (advisor) ; Görner, Tomáš (referee)
8 ABSTRACT The participants of environmental management are able to contribute to the sustainable development of protected areas through organized cooperation that requires a complex approach. Therefore, identification and classification of attitudes or relationships between stakeholders are highly desirable as well as determining the factors influencing their thinking towards the existence of protected areas. The explanatory variables like age, education, local and ecological knowledge and employment are usually discussed to explain of residents' opinions on protected areas. This work focuses on the residents of National parks Krkonose, Podyji and Ceske Svycarsko and a team of researchers under the leadership of a supervizor was systematically monitored residents' opinions since 1999 in these national parks. Four-block questionnaire field surveys were conducted in 19 villages influenced by national park management and 469 samples were collected. Chi-square test and logistic regression were utilized to analyse the dataset. There are signifiant relationships (p < 0.05) between selected demographic, environmental, social, economic and institutional-political indicators. Positive or negative respondents' opinions on the existence of the national park were significantly influenced by their age (pχ2 = 0.026),...
Reptiles and amphibians of the National Park Podyjí
Fruhwirt, Marek ; Kubík, Štěpán (advisor)
There are many species of animals and plants in national park Podyjí. Among them, of course, amphibians. If we are talking about species diversity, there is more than half of frogs and caudate amphibians, which can be found in Czech republic. There are many reptiles beside original species of snakes, lizards and turtles, there are a few of unoriginal ones. In my bachelor work, I'm focussing on these species, either original or unoriginal ones.

Technická zpráva z Pozemního laserového skenování na lokalitě Ledové sluje, NP Podyjí, etapa 2012
Kuda, František
Ústav geoniky AV ČR, v. v. i. realizoval v rámci vědecko-výzkumné činnosti a na základě objednávky Správy Národního parku Podyjí (Objednávka číslo OB NPP 41/2012) v průběhu roku 2012 geomorfologický výzkum a terénní měření technologií 3D pozemního laserového skenování na lokalitě Ledové sluje. Cílem 3D pozemního laserového skenování bylo s vysokou přesností zachytit komplikované uspořádání prvků reliéfu v centrálním prostoru Ledových slují (okolí Obelisku, Zlomové rokle, I. a II. Pilíře). Získaná data budou použita pro tvorbu detailního digitálního modelu reliéfu v souřadnicovém systému S-JTSK. Podle dat registrovaných do S-JTSK proběhla obrazová transformace účelové mapy 1:200 z roku 1991 (Počta a kol.) z místního systému do uvedeného S-JTSK.
