This bachelor‘s thesis deals with the design of computer networks for a mixed-use building. It is based on the analysis of the new building and the defined requirements of the investor. One part of this work are theoretical assumptions that help better understand the issues of computer networks. The thesis includes design of active components, calculation of costs and technical documentation.

The master’s thesis is focused on creating a company’s computer network and a plan of its implementation. The plan is based on an analysis of the new company building in which the network is supposed to be implemented and consequently specifies specific procedures and elements that will be used during the process of implementation. The thesis includes technical documentation , cost calculation and work plan necessary for the realization of the network.

This project aims to create a complete proposal for a computer network for Autodružstvo Znojmo. Proposed solutions must take into account the current technical and safety trends that are valid under the relevant norms and standards for the type of Gigabit Ethernet network. The work will also described the use and characteristics of individual sub-components, which are for the operation of the entire network is necessary.
