Al Halabi, Enas ; Paar, Martin
The article focuses on the concept of solar carports in parking lots for energetic utilization and charging electric vehicles (EVs), describes their structure, components, configuration, also paper presents an overview of the analysis of selected parking areas at Brno University of Technology (BUT) for energy utilization, finally a designed project of solar carports in these areas are highlighted.
Project of PV System for a Commercial Building
Zeman, Daniel ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The main purpose of this work is to describe the basic principles of PV modules and to define the conditions for the construction of PV systems. Define the differences between the various types of PV systems and for the selected object handle system design in accordance with applicable legal conditions. For the proposed technical solution to handle complex energy-economic analysis conducted by the proposal. The work also ncludes procedures for calculating the various parameters that have been known for the correct design of the entire system in a given location during temperature changes and changes in solar irradiance.
Smart Home
Konstantinov, Glib ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Mlýnek, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the analysis of intelligent devices and the possibilities of their usage in the household. Furthermore, the possibilities of using electricity from a photovoltaic power station and their comparison in terms of financial savings and efficiency of use are described. Moreover, in the theoretical part, a smart metering is described and methods of monitoring electricity consumption from classic electricity meters are presented. The practical part focuses on measuring the consumption of electricity by home appliances using a smart plug with the aim of their categorization, measuring the quality of electricity using a quality monitor MEg44PAN. The output of the bachelor thesis is the visualization of ways how intelligent elements can be implemented into existing buildings, smart homes and various combinations of appliances and resources.
Operating diagnostics of PVP
Prášil, Kryštof ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of photovoltaic power plants, especially their operational diagnostics and how to perform this diagnostics. The introduction of the work explains the principle of function of PV cells and describes the procedure for manufacturing these cells. Furthermore, there are mentioned methods of manufacturing individual components for assembling a PV panel. The next part lists the individual components of the PV power plant and describes their function in the entire system. At the same time, the connection methods of the PV plant are described. In the third part, we look at possible defects that affect the performance of PV systems and reduce their economic profitability. We will explain the defects of both the entire PV power plant and the individual panels and components. The following chapter is focused on explanation of individual variables related to PV power plants and what these variables are about. The fifth chapter deals with the content of the standard ČSN EN 62446. The last chapter concerns the diagnostics of the PV system itself, practical tests and evaluation of the results of these tests.
Draft of intelligent wiring for a house with a PV system and its economic evaluation
Brtnický, Pavel ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This master´s thesis applies to design of power and data wiring controlle by an intelligent wiring. The aim is to get to know the issue and design a project for family house that includes fhotovoltaic power station. In the introduction is a description of the inteligent wirings, its potential, topology, advantages or disadvantages towards standard electroinstallations,it also presents an overview of widely used intelligent wiring, especially Foxtrot. What follows is the subject itself for what is the project designated for. The next topic will be a presentation of complete electroinstallation and photovoltaic power station. It all ends with an economic evaluation of the whole project.
Energy Flow Analysis In Lv Grid With High Level Penetration Of Pv Instalations
Kolarik, Robin
The article is focused on the analysis of daily energy flow in LV grid with PV installations, electric vehicles and the character of the building consumption. PV systems are situated on the roofsof the houses and use maximum roofs technical potential. Electric vehicles are divided to three categoriesand by each house are situated one electric car. Load profile of each houses are based on thestandardized load profile, whitch is allocated according to distribution tariff. The aim of this articleis to determine daily power flow analysis in municipality LV grid.
