Kindergarten in Příbor
Murgašová, Dominika ; Burianová, Lenka (referee) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The subject of this master’s thesis is a project documentation for development of a nursery school. The nursery school is situated on the outskirts of the city Příbor. The school is designed as a two-storey building and includes 4 classrooms, with total capacity reaching 60 pupils. The perimeter wall consists of Porotherm clay block walling system. The ceiling framework uses a combination of two systems; the prestress hollow core slabs Spiroll and reinforced concrete monolithic blocks. The roof is designed as a single skin cladding with a flat, green roof. The external thermal insulation composite system (Etics) is proposed for the insulation of the building. The outer walls are partially cladded with timber. Additionally, the combination of white rendering and timber cladding will form a modern looking building that fits within a new housing development. Furthermore, the plan includes an outside playground, with allotments and parking spaces on the premises for the use of a nursery school.
Elementary Art School
Šimíčková, Alžběta ; Hudcová, Šárka (referee) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to make a project documentation of building School of art. It´s a brick object with partial basement and there are 2 aboveground floors. The entrance of the house is situated north. The object has grand plan which is shape of the letter U and its roofed by flat roof with waterproofing from modified waterproofing strips. The peripheral masonry on the above-ground floors is designed from clay masonry POROTHERM and from permanent formwork Diton in the basement. Ceiling constructions are designed from prestressed concrete deck slab Spiroll. The whole building is insulated by contact thermal insulation system. When designing the external appearance of the building the regulations of the surrounding buildings, which consist of houses with flat roofs, were taken into account. The color and material solutions were also based on these principles. The combination of white and brick colors creates a modern look, which enhances the horizontal separation of individual floors by contrasting color line in gray. The premises of the new school also include large outdoor atrium spaces and a park area south of the atrium, which can be used for outdoor teaching and public productions.

Faktory ovplyvňujúce cenu českých štátnych dlhopisov počas jednotlivých ekonomických cyklov
Albrecht, Peter
ALBRECHT, P. Factors affecting the price of the Czech government bond during individual economic cycles. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel university in Brno, 2018. This bachelor thesis is about the influence between Czech government bond prices with 10 years maturity and inflation, the PRIBOR rate, yield and the currency pair EUR/CZK in period pre-crisis, post-crisis and crisis in years 2008 and 2009. The thesis analyses studies dealing with factors affecting bond prices. It is analyzed whether individual factors affected the bond price during each period. This relationship is tested with correlation analysis. At first there is an analysis of the development of the bond prices and each factor individually and then their mutual influence is examined. Further it is analyzed the reason of demand for the bonds against their low yields. At the end it is discussed why it is beneficial for investors to watch the PRIBOR rate, inflation and the currency rate EUR/CZK in pre-crisis and post-crisis periods and yield during all periods.
Vývojové tendencie a trendy v správání hypotekárnych trhov a trhov s bývaním v období nízkych úrokových sadzieb v Českej republike a vybraných krajinnách Európskej únie
Barteková, Iveta
The theme of this diploma thesis is the evaluation of the impact of very low (near zero, in the case of the ECB negative) interest rates at the housing market in the Czech Republic and Germany. The first part focuses on the transmission mecha- nism and a research of relevant literature. The second part reviews the impact of the repo rate on the mortgage lending rates and other mortgage market rates (EU- RIBOR, PRIBOR). The development of the basic macroeconomic indicators (GDP, unemployment, inflation) in relation to the housing and housing market situation is also being compared. Furthermore, the study focuses on the power that the owner occupation rate and the cost of rent in individual countries have in influence over the mortgage rate. Based on the results, conclusions are drawn regarding cur- rent developments at the housing markets.

Analysis of the impact of currency intervention on financial markets and analysis of speculative activity
Langr, Matěj ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor) ; Mazáček, David (referee)
Abstract Objective of this thesis is calculation of the speculative position that is held by the subjects of such speculation on appreciation of Czech currency. Thesis inspects the impacts of currency interventions on domestic financial spot and future markets. Thesis also describes development in the speculative capital inflow, which was conducted with support of quantitative and qualitative data extracted from ARAD database, which runs on Czech national bank domain. Calculation were also conducted by the author of this thesis using Bloomberg Terminal data. The results of this study shows that in total 68,2 billion EUR entered Czech financial market in the form of speculative capital, as well as detailed analysis of speculative capital inflow periods and speculative strategies through which the capital entered. It was also discovered that because of the speculative capital inflow, negative deposit interest rates occurred. Impacts on future/forward markets were discovered as well as impacts on spot markets. Thesis also describes the impact on hedging activity of domestic exporters in the period of exchange rate commitment. Also the impact on inter-bank markets were described with the impact on their balance sheet. Czech republic finds itself in the era of massive foreign exchange reserves, since Czech national bank was forced to buy out EUR liquidity, thus fulfilling exchange rate commitment
Building Societies in Low Interest Rate Environment
Hanzlík, Petr ; Džmuráňová, Hana (advisor) ; Baniar, Matúš (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyse the impact of low interest rate environment in the Czech Republic in recent years on the sector of building societies as a specific segment of the financial market. In the second part the impact of changing market interest rate on outstanding volumes of deposits in building societies is analysed. The analysis is conducted through simple time series models estimated by OLS. Final part includes comparison of demand for building savings loans with demand for mortgages as well as consideration of the development of profitability of the sector of building societies in recent years. Application of Monte Carlo simulations in banking
Boruta, Matěj ; Teplý, Petr (advisor) ; Fučík, Vojtěch (referee)
Currently, banking is exposed to huge market risks. One of those risks is occurrence of negative interest rates in the EU. Nowadays, it is important to use sophisticated and modern measurement tools and approaches to measure and manage banking risks. One of those methods is Monte Carlo simulation. This bachelor thesis is aimed at analysis and prediction of 3-month maturity Prague Interest Offer Rate (PRIBOR) for 3, 6 and 12 months with using Monte Carlo simulations. It was found that this method is suitable for prediction market variables with low volatility. If anybody uses this method, it is necessity to have in mind all pitfalls and assumptions, that this method includes, as an adequate random generated number of scenarios, approximation of correct probability distribution, independence of dataset and not least, as far as possible, to focus on factors generating randomness of market variable and not the prices, that express rather consequences of randomness than its cause. Further, the Monte Carlo prediction was compared with prognosis of the Czech Nation Bank and it was found that Monte Carlo prediction is more accurate for short term predictions. 12-month prediction of Monte Carlo simulation discovered also possible occurrence of negative interest rate at 0,05% level of probability in compare to the Czech National Bank prognosis, where was no negative interest rate predicted.
