The aim of this master's thesis is suggestion and following realization of voice transmission over the local network equipment and a description of used circuits and solutions in terms of hardware and software. This thesis deals with digitization of low-frequency signals, the structure of IP and UDP protocols, implementation of TCP/IP stack cIPS
Analysis of Converged Networks by Simulations
Gardáš, Vít ; Novotný, Bohumil (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The primary purpose of this study is to analyze converged high-speed networks with the usage of Matlab and Simuling. To set problematic area in the field of high-speed networks and solve this problem by creating a model of measurement and simulation of this model. A laboratory exercise is afterwards created on the specific problem.
Encrypting Landlines Phone Communication
Vávra, Jakub ; Kumpošt, Marek (referee) ; Cvrček, Daniel (advisor)
This master's thesis is about making draft and implementing land-line phone call encryption using FITkit. The ultimate goal is to find suitable compression and encryption methods, implement or adapt them for FITkit board and create functional solution.
Design of EMC optical converter
Štěpánek, Adam ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Krutílek, David (advisor)
Master's thesis is focused on designing optical converter for EMC measurement transfering signal through noisy enviroment. First part contains analysis of electromagnetic interference and its coupling and measurement, especially types of probes for interference maesurement. Next part passing through designing of optoelectric and electrooptic converter with digital intensity modulation. Last part is about realization of optical converter.
Converters controling
Nevoral, Jiří ; Steinbauer, Miloslav (referee) ; Fiala, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor´s project is study of DSP microprocessor problems to converters controlling with asynchronous motors and execution of a project. Study includes information on quality single type processor, benefits and disadvantage whole solving. Of purpose is DSP converters control with DMC1500.
Multiplatform Application for Speaker Verification
Görig, Jan ; Matějka, Pavel (referee) ; Glembek, Ondřej (advisor)
Bachelor thesis considers speaker recognition without knowledge of spoken message. There are described current feature extraction methods and their evaluation using Gaussian mixture model. The practical output of this work is application for visualization of the recognition process. Developed application is cross platform and it uses Qt and BSAPI libraries.
Design and optimization of temperature fluctuation dumper with latent heat thermal energy storage
Kozubík, Lukáš ; Charvát, Pavel (referee) ; Klimeš, Lubomír (advisor)
The goal of this master’s thesis is creating a model of the attenuation of the fluid temperature fluctuations using methods described in the thesis. PCM is used to attenuation of fluctuations. This thesis is example of utilization PCM in technical practice. Numerical calculation of PCM phase change uses the method of effective heat capacity and enthalpy method. A part of this thesis also forms a theoretical basis for heat transfer described by differential equations. The final part of the thesis is dedicated to the optimization of the model and the description of the optimization methods.
Objective Exercise of a New Transmission Equipment
Rosenberg, Michal ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
The aim of my project is designing of the example of the new transmission equipment PCM30U - 3UST for education of the subject Access and transport networks in form of the three new laboratory tasks. The tasks are focused on the configuration of a more universal familiarity with transmission facilities-PCM30U-3UST. Students learn to operate with the equipment so that they will be able to manage its interface and practical usage of its insertable cards. Further they gain theoretical knowledge of the E1, that they verify it through the analyzer PUMA 4300E. This work is also acquainted them with the theoretical principles of signal transduction through the framework of the E1 and contains a brief manual of the transmission equipment PCM30U-3UST and analyzer PUMA 4300. Laboratory tasks are processed including detailed workflow, which includes graphic illustration of linkage and developed model protocols.
Study of passive stabilisation of building materials temperature
Šebek, Jan ; Pavlík,, Zbyšek (referee) ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (advisor)
The topic of presented master’s thesis was study of passive stabilization of building materials temperature. The main goal of this thesis was measuring and characterization of the thermal properties of building materials, which are used to PCM technology. PCM technology is based on utilization of latent heat of phase change. At the beginning of this thesis it was needed to define physical principle of phase change, then the most usable PCM chemicals (e.g. paraffin, Glauber’s salt, hexahydrate calcium chloride) and their basic physical properties (especially thermo-physical), background research of building materials with PCM and also the methods of thermo-physical properties measurement. It was also needed to characterize measured building materials and define theirs thermal parameters; because the values of thermal parameters of measured samples were compared to these values. In the experimental part of my thesis are measurements of material thermal analysis, which are methods, where the properties of materials are studied as they change with temperature. I had used to differential scanning calorimetry, transient pulse method and other methods, which are usable for thermo-physical properties measuring and characterization. I have been much interested in properties of measured material, which were specific heat capacity, temperature diffusivity, heat conductivity and phase change temperature (the melting point of PCM). At the end of my thesis the findings of all methods were finally summarized, compared and commented.
Point-on-Wave Controller PWC600 and its capability to protect the HV substation
Šikula, Jiří ; Melnyk, Oleksiy (referee) ; Polsterová, Helena (advisor)
Mechanical and electrical stresses reduce the life of all devices. The lifetime of some devices is affected by these stress factors more, others less. For high voltage products, it's not just a lifetime or a price, but a security that should be the first. This thesis deals with protection of elements of high voltage switchboards. Specifically, it is a PWC600 Point-on-Wave Controller that attempts to minimize stress when connecting or disconnecting loads or generators.
