O problémech seřazení při řízení servisních operací
Lín, Václav ; Vomlel, Jiří (advisor) ; Jiroušek, Radim (referee) ; Kouba, Zdeněk (referee) ; Ottosen, Thorsten Jorgen (referee)
The subject of the thesis belongs to the field of operations management. We deal with sequencing problems arising when there are multiple repair operations available to fix a broken man-made system and the true cause of the system failure is uncertain. It is assumed that the system is formally described by a probabilistic model, and it is to be repaired by a sequence of troubleshooting operations designed to identify the cause of the malfunction and fix the system. The challenge is to find a course of repair which has minimal expected cost. We study several variants of the problem proposed in the literature. We analyze computational complexity of those variants, apply integer linear programming to one variant of the problem, and examine the relation to machine scheduling.
Eliminating Repair Costs in Meopta-optika, Ltd
Loyková, Markéta ; Tripes, Stanislav (advisor) ; Zelená, Veronika (referee)
Costs for repairing non-conforming parts may cause any company that is struggling with this problem, considerable damage. It is therefore essential that the problem was not relegated to the sidelines. The aim of this study was to find the cause of the large amount of non-conforming pieces and create a calculation of financial costs associated with the production of non-conforming parts and highlight the advantages of the individual methods of control depending on the size of the production of the four most problematic part. The first section summarizes the findings regarding the operational management-Industrial Engineering and Quality. A special chapter is devoted to the control systems in three foreign companies. The practical part deals with the resulting problem of non-conforming parts in Meopta-Optika, Ltd. and analyzes the situation through interviews, observation and application of mathematical and statistical methods to internal data. The outcome of the work will be recommendations that I could eliminate the problem.
Deciding on Inventory Replenishment in a selected Restaurant Business
Oberhel, Martin ; Černý, Jan (advisor) ; Novák, Michal (referee)

In the theoretical part of chapters there are stated basics of the issues, their structure and methods of solution of these issues. In the practical parts of chapters there are described individual problems in the selected organization. The final parts of chapters contain rating of differences between the theoretical and practical parts, the author's personal opinion on the given issue and a recommendation of certain adjustments for the established system in the organization.
A Draft of Postal Transport Routes of the Central Bohemian Region
Hodonský, Josef ; Černý, Jan (advisor) ; Přibyl, Vladimír (referee)
This thesis describes and analyzes the postal transportation network of Central Bohemian Region, shows an applications of operational management in transport and by Clarke - Wright algorithm with limited capacity of the vehicles and limited time of ride solves the design of new routes to reduce mileage while operating the branch network of the territory.
