Nursery School

The subject of this project is a new building of a nursery school in Brno - district Brno - Líšeň. The aim of thesis is to create dokumentation for realization of the building of the nursery school which capacity is 50 children divided into two classes. The nursery school operates all-day. The building is situated on a flat terrain and has one floor without the basement. The building is made of brick from ceramic blocks from the HELUZ system and perimeter walls are thermally insulated. The building has a single-layer flat roof.

Nursery school in passive standard

Subject of this diploma thesis is a new building of nursery school in passive standards. The school has two floors. On both floors there are build two classes, each for twenty children. Structure is based on strip foundations and load-bearing walls are made from sand-lime blocks. The horizontal load-bearing structures are from cast-in-place reinforced concrete. School has green flat roof and above atrium has sloped roof. The shape of building is made by three circle segments with different radius. Ventilation of the building is ensured by heat recovery ventilation unit. Project is situated into an urban area of Brno, nearby the city center, on brownfield plot.

Support of the healthy lifestyle and nutrition in education program of kindergarten

The thesis deals with a healthy nutrition and lifestyle of preschool children. It is focused on the principles of healthy diet in the kindergarten and following it. The topic of this bachelor work is particularly the nutrition of children from the point of their healthy development. Further follows a description the nutritional values of given food, regular fluid intake, total development of the preschool children, suitable eating habits. There is also a description of health complications occurring already during early childhood, which are caused by wrong eating habits. The result of this work is the evaluation and fulfilment of the nutritional values within one month diet and finding out, if the norms of the consumerism basket are kept. By means of analysis there is a description, what are the children´s likes and dislikes, whether they are aware of healthy or unhealthy food which they consume.
