Motion Detector For Android Platform
Komár, Michal ; Přibyl, Jaroslav (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with implementation of the motion detector for Android platform mobile phones. It works as a motion detector, with the ability to indicate moving object recorded by an integrated camera. The detector core is written in native code for faster processing by ARM architecture processors. The application allows various settings to optimize the detector in different environments.
Acceleration of Graphics Algorithms by NEON Coprocessor
Kratochvíl, Radim ; Jaroš, Jiří (referee) ; Viktorin, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this work is to examine capabilities of NEON coprocessor. Various implementations of the same algorithm are compared: language C, assembly language, language C with intinsic functions and automatically vectorized code. Main conslusion is, that computation time can be reduced up to 60 times, allowing real-time HD video processing.
A Component Design Framework in Nette Environment
Kvita, Michal ; Milička, Martin (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the design and implementation of framework for simplification of creating, managing and using of components in Czech PHP framework Nette and its template language Latte. Project is realized as a library with help of the system of extensions in Nette. The library respectively uses markup language XML and internal configuration format of Nette called NEON. Text also contains analysis of that parts of Nette, which are relevant for this topic. Final solution is demonstrated on simple application and in conclusion future possible expansion is discussed.
Optimization of Voice Recognition for Mobile Devices
Tomec, Martin ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with optimization of keyword spotting algorithms   on processor architecture ARM Cortex-A8. At first it describes this    architecture and especially the NEON unit for vector computing.   In addition it briefly describes keyword spotting algorithms and also there is proposed optimization of these algorithms for described architecture. Main part of this work is implementation of these optimizations and analysis of their impact on performance.

Face Detector For Android Platform
Slavík, Roman ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with face detection on mobile phones with Android OS. The introduction describes some algorithms used for pattern detection from image, as well as various techniques of features extracting. After that Android platform development specifics, including basic description of development tools, are described. Architecture of SIMD is introduced in next part of this work. After acquiring basic knowleage analysis and implementation of final app are descrited. Performance tests are conducted whose results are summarized in the conclusion.
