Curriculum framework and its fulfilment in common and extended music education

The diploma thesis focuses on the school subject "Music class" in its common conception and on the teaching of Music classes with extended learning (further on MCEL) at the second level of primary schools from the perspective of the Framework Educational Programme for Primary Education (further on FEPPE). The thesis contains theoretical knowledge about curriculum documents for education and about the requirements of the FEPPE for teaching Music classes. In the following chapters, the thesis deals with the documents that relate to the teaching of regular Music classes and to the teaching of Music classes with extended time allotment. The differences between these two conceptions of Music classes are pointed out in this diploma theses. The thesis presents a part of the School Curriculum of a particular school where Music classes with extended time allotment are taught. Based on an interview with a teacher of MCEL, the thesis provides findings from the overall organisation of the subject.
Application of digital technologies in teaching of music classes in elementary schools

This Bachelor's thesis is focused on usage of digital technologies in music classes at second stage of elementary school. It also focuses on information and communications technology (ICT), specifically on digital technologies and their utilisation in education including brief summary of some of the technologies. The goal of this thesis is to map the scope and diversity of utilisation of digitaltechnologies in music classes at second stage of elementary school.
Wallachian folklore music in Music education 2nd grade Elementary School

This diploma thesis discusses options of using Wallachian musical folklore in the education for the 2nd grade class at an elementary school. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretic information about the Wallachian region in general. It includes facts about folklore, delineation of boundaries, the origin of this region as well as typical costumes and folk architecture. The author focuses on distinctive folk songs, typical musical instruments and dances typical for the Wallachian region. The second part introduces folk collectors, important people and current folk events in this region. The research part examines the relationship and knowledge of the musical folklore and the pupils of the 2nd grade. The author uses a questionnaire method of research. After that, the practical part of this thesis offers a suggestion for Wallachian folklore to become a part of these music classes. Using of Powerpoint's Presentation in Music Education

The master's thesis is about the using of PowerPoint presentations in music teaching from the viewpoint of the teacher at lower secondary schools in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part deals with implementation of ICT into schools, the importance and usage of interdisciplinary relations in tuition using ICT and about visualization as one of the successful modern trends in pedagogy linked with new technologies. In the practical part are examples of PowerPoint presentations made on the basis of curriculum selected from class-books for secondary school with proposals for practical use in music class.
