Feeder Protection Relay REF615
Holomek, David ; Foukal, Roman (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is to create a monitoring system for an asynchronous motor using IED REF615. For REF615 devices it is necessary to make the appropriate configuration and connection. The device communicate with the MVI69-MNET card by Modbus/TCP protocol. The thesis describes the operation of an asynchronous motor through the use of a PowerFlex 40 frequency changer. PowerFlex 40 sends data via an Ethernet/IP connection. The thesis also describes a program in PLC for monitoring the power status of an asynchronous motor. The next part of my work is a visualization created in the FactoryTalk View Studio. In conclusion, the thesis is tested by connecting all of the components as well as all of the proposed functions.
Demonstration task - Motor protection with MODBUS TCP
Berčík, Dominik ; Drahota, Petr (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor work is to design and implement the demostration panel for laboratory task in which asynchronous motor failures will be simulated. These will be evaluated using the intelligent electronic device REF615, which communicates via ModBus/TCP, and compared with the values of the motor protection E1 plus 193-EECB and the Power Flex 525 AC. Both devices communicate by Ethernet/IP. A part of the work is an analysis of functionality of used components including their configuration and description of communication protocols ModBus/TCP and Ethernet/IP.
System for network device detection and recognition of used protocols
Sasák, Libor ; Fujdiak, Radek (referee) ; Holasová, Eva (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the recognition of used protocols in a network using machine learning and the creation of a system for this purpose. It focuses on the most widely used industrial and common application protocols and describes selected well-proven machine learning techniques for their recognition. However, priority is given to artificial neural networks. It briefly describes databases and the specific implementation SQLite3 used in the final system implementation. A virtual environment for simulating selected Modbus/TCP, DNP3, HTTPS and FTP protocols is also created and described. Part of the thesis is devoted to the collection, analysis and processing of the data needed to recognize the protocols. Furthermore, it covers the creation and testing of machine learning models for the given protocols. Last but not least, the thesis is devoted to the design of the recognition system and its implementation with a graphical user interface. It also includes testing and evaluation of its advantages and limitations.

Industrial Network Security Module
Kuchař, Karel ; Holasová, Eva
This article is focused on a fast and efficient evaluation method of communication of theModbus/TCP protocol. Modbus/TCP does not implement authentication or communication encryption. Therefore, a Modbus Security module was created, which allows sniffing specific network trafficand parsing particular information from the packets. This information is stored in the database usingPostgreSQL on each master and slave station. It evaluates whether there is an attack on the networkby comparing information in individual databases. There is an additional authentication of individualstations using the created SSH connection between databases. Everything is visualised using theGrafana tool.
