This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design of analytical reports for the accounting department of Zebra Technologies. The theoretical section introduces the basic concepts of Business Intelligence, reporting and Microsoft Power BI. The proposal section presents solutions to problem areas identified in the analysis of the current state. Finally, the finished reports are presented and an evaluation of the proposal is given. The proposal has been accepted by the company and is being used to monitor the invoice processing process and improve its efficiency.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the design and implementation of automation of reporting processes at TEDOM Energie using Business Intelligence (BI) tools. The aim is to increase the efficiency of data processing and the speed of decision-making processes through modern BI technologies. The thesis analyzes the current state of the reporting system, identifies key issues, and proposes solutions to overcome them. It includes theoretical foundations such as the basic principles and components of BI, and a practical part, which deals with the selection and implementation of suitable BI tools and technologies. The result of the thesis is a design that was implemented and subsequently evaluated in terms of data processing efficiency and accuracy. The work demonstrates how BI tools, especially Microsoft Power BI, can transform processes in an organization and contribute to a better understanding and utilization of corporate data for strategic decision-making.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the implementation and use of Business Intelligence tools for chosen companies, by using Micsrosfot PowerBI and Kibana. The thesis contains a theoretical part that describes Business Intelligence, its parts, tools and other necessary issues that will be worked with further. In the following part is made, an analysis of the current situation of the given company. The last part focuses on obtaining, transforming, and uploading the necessary data and developing dashboards that monitor the performance of the companies. The resulting dashboards will help in monitoring the devices used in companies.

The work presents the possibilities of processing existing reports and the design of a new system that will be many times more helpful to the company. Several views will be taken into account, both on reporting and on the entire system and its implementation in the operation of the company.

This master’s thesis is focused on evaluation of managerial reporting in defined department of a company and by using a case study approach, it designs a reporting that actively engages Business Intelligence tools based on performed process and infrastructure analysis. Prior to the analysis there a literature review explaining concepts of information management and Business Intelligence. The thesis is concluded by a project plan that designs a proposal of the new reporting process utilizing given technology.
