Wireless sensor network
Beneš, Vladimír ; Pavlík, Michal (referee) ; Bohrn, Marek (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes the design and implementation of wireless sensor network for temperature measurement. Network have to meet requirements for multi-hop network-type. That means, the sensor unit is out of the range, information about the measured temperature will be transfer between sensors. The sensor that is in range of the control unit will retransmit data from multiple sites to the main device. The sensors and the control unit are controlled by a microcontroller and a battery-powered for better mobility. The transfer of measurement data uses free zone for short-range devices - 433 MHz.

That means, the sensor unit is out of the range, information about the measured temperature will be transfer between sensors. The sensor that is in range of the control unit and will have saved data from multiple sites, to transmit all the data controller. Logic analyzer for teaching
Dobrocký, Marcel ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with a design of USB logic analyzer that will be used for teaching purposes in laboratory environment. The main purpose of the logic analyzer will be analysis of serial communication protocols most frequently used in embedded systems - UART, SPI and I2C. The analyzer can be also used as a debugging tool while designing all sorts of digital systems. In the first part of this thesis, the theoretical background of above mentioned communication protocols is explained. The next chapter deals with the process of signal analysis with the designed analyzer. It also contains a detailed description of the hardware module design. The last part deals with designing the microcontroller firmware and PC software, while explaining different applications of the analyzer in teaching.
