Agile project management in selected company

This work is focused on developing of own proposals and recommendations for future growth of agile approach in selected company, based on description and analysis of existing procedures in this company. There is basic characteristic of selected company, general and specific description in case study after study of theoretical basis. Agile procedures are compared to principles of agile manifesto and Scrum method in conclusion of the case study. There are identified shortcomings of procedures in agile project management of selected company based on this comparison. For mitigation, or elimination of these shortcomings, there are presented and discussed own proposals and recommendations for future growth of agile approach in selected company.
Analysis of the Agile Project Management in selected IT Company

The thesis focuses on the issue of Agile approach Scrum in IT project management, namely the description and analysis of the current state of Agile approaches in selected company and the subsequent drafting own proposals for improvement of the management of IT projects. A literature background review deals with the basic characteristics and rules of agile approach Scrum. In the practical part of the Thesis is introduced the company Juicymo s.r.o. After a brief description of the company, the current state of agile approach to IT project management is described and analyzed. The thesis primarily described in detail cases in which the management of the company differs from the definitions and rules of Scrum. The thesis also drawn up concrete proposals on how to improve the current state of management of the selected company.
Application of modern elements in classical project management

This thesis deals with project management and with different ways in which can be cur-rently approached. Beside the conventional, classical approach based on processes, modern approaches based on the theory of constraints and agile principles are discussed. Based on analysis, the main objective of the thesis is firstly to find weaknesses in the classical project management and strong key elements of modern approaches and after that to make suggestions to enhance the classical approach with the selected strong elements of modern approaches.
