Program for Analyzing Economical Data via Mathematical Modeling in Maple
Žigárdy, Martin ; Hřebíček,, Jiří (referee) ; Chvátalová, Zuzana (advisor)
In this diploma thesis I constructed generally usable program for processing economical data through mathematical methods of linear regression in Maple system. Program is used for trend dependency analysis of examined quantities. Via multi-stage algorithmization and implementation of information criterion I created interactive form with user-friendly interface with possibility of straight data import from office suite applications. Functionality of this program is verified on example with specific data collection.
Modelling of vibration of dynamic systems with n-degrees of freedom
Horák, Petr ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dušek, Daniel (advisor)
The aim of this work is to assemble mathematical model for given system of point masses. Compute the natural frequencies and their corresponding modes of vibration. Differentiations of vibration by various points of view are written in this work. The given system is analyzed and the equations of motion using two most common methods are written. Calculation procedure of mentioned physical quantities is written in order from simplified to complete system of point masses. This procedure is used in command file to express values numerical. The frequency response of the system and the displacement-time plots are shown. The impact of constant variability entering the calculation is described.
Brownian Motion - Mathematical Modeling of Financial Markets
Balada, Radek ; Hřebíček,, Jiří (referee) ; Chvátalová, Zuzana (advisor)
In this diploma thesis a general purpose application was developed in order to analyse economic data emitted by the Prague Stock Exchange. The application was written in the Maple programming language. The purpose of this application is to simulate possible future development of the securities. The main part of the application is a user-friendly graphical user interface.
Evaluation of Corporate Performance for the Sustainable Development Support
Smoroň, Samuel ; Pavláková Dočekalová, Marie (referee) ; Chvátalová, Zuzana (advisor)
Diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of the performance of a selected company operating in the field of processing medicinal plants and natural substances for the period 2015 - 2020. The tools of financial analysis are used in the evaluation. The calculation and results are realized and displayed using Maple software. Selected company indicators are compared with the industry average. The analysis of PESTLE and Porter's model is processed in the work. The performed analyzes are used in the design to improve the company's performance and outline the parameters for the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard method, which should be a supporting tool for ensuring the sustainable development of the company.
Selected Quantitative Methods and their Using into Financial Analysis of the Commercial Chain
Rečka, Ondřej ; Hanušová, Helena (referee) ; Chvátalová, Zuzana (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis focuses on the evaluation of the results of the financial analysis and it’s interpretation for assessing the financial health of the company. The financial analysis is performed using ratio indicators, their time series, regression models of selected indicators for time development identification. Maple mathematical software and MS Excel software were selected to apply the selected quantitative methods. The resulting interpretation of the results of the financial analysis serves as a suggestion for possible improvement of the financial situation of the analyzed company.

This paper describes the factors that influence this market, analyses the current situation, and predicates the development of the real estate market in the upcoming years. The prediction of the market development is conducted through the regression analysis of statistical data. All calculations are carried out using the Maple programme
Mathematical Modeling of Company Efficiency Using Neural Networks in Maple
Bartulec, Tomasz ; Vašátko, Jiří (referee) ; Chvátalová, Zuzana (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to study the possibilities of Artificial neural network as an innovative mathematical methods for financial analysis of company performance, to find out what are today´s requests for performance evaluation of companies are and to identify possible ways how to use this relatively new concept in this area. When processing the possibilities of the computer program Maple for mathematical calculations will be applied. Intermediate objectives are then acquainted with the basic principle on which the artificial neural networks works, to analyze the financial performance of specific company and evaluate potential predictive abilities of the proposed network. The result of the work should be evaluating the success of this approach to financial analysis and evaluation of its use in practice.
