Production of the “ Hauling lug pawl“ component

This magister thesis focuses on possibilities of replacement of milled Hauling lug pawl by cheaper component made by MIM technology with additional chemical-thermal treatment. Two thirds of costs should be saved if application is fruitful. Despite huge mix of combinations of steel ASTM-A29-AISI 8620, ASTM-A29-AISI 4140 and chemical-thermal treatment, no combination was successful. Several series of samples have been created but not even the use of HIP and ARCOR technology helped to pass circuit breaker storage life tests. Successful application of MIM technology would require additional design changes or choice of different suitable part.

Manufacturing possibilities of slider

Project drawn up as a part of bachelor studies of mechanical engineering branch brings suggestion of technologies that are usable for manufacturing of slider, which is a part of turn restrictor mechanism produced by the company TOKOZ, and presents assessment of its suitability. Considered technologies are casting, metal injection molding (MIM), combinations of non-conventional methods of material separation and bending, conventional cutting and bending, cutting and roll forming and precision cutting and bending. Upon a comparison of attributes of these technologies especially in term of precision requests, one piece manufacturing expenses and manufacturing time demands was chosen as the most suitable option with regard to productivity combination of conventional cutting and bending and with regard to manufacturing precision combination of precision cutting and bending.

Time perspective and achievement motivation of high school students

The diploma thesis deals with relation of students to the future, connections between time perspective and achievement motivation and possibilities of diagnostic strategies of researched areas. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts - practical and theoretical one. Emphasis is given on practical part. Theoretical part looks into scientific solutions of time perspective by way of cognitive and personality concepts of motivation (Nuttina, Zimbarda, Pavelková work). I minutely deal with relation between time perspective and achievement motivation which is presented within theoretical approaches of Atkinson, Raynor, Heckhasen. Theoretical part deals with theoretical conception of achievement motivation (in order to deep insight to these issues) as well as it deals with diagnostic approaches and methods of time perspective and achievement motivation. Practical part presents research which took place in period from March to May 2013 in Vysočina region and was focused on high school students. The research focuses on looking for student's relation to future with concentration on achievement fear aspects, relation between time perspective and achievement motivation, possibilities of diagnostic methods and restrictions of observed areas. Using MIM in time perspective diagnostics

This Diploma thesis thematizes the problem of students' time perspective and its diagnostics. The whole text is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical with emphasis on the theoretical part. The theoretical part will look upon the conceptions of time perspective. Ideas of time perception, the influence of time on human behavior and a connection of time pespective with an achievement motivation are presented. The personality-motivational concept of time perspective by European expert of motivational psychology Jopeph Nuttin are analyzed. From the domestic authors I describe the concept of perpsective orientation by Isabella Pavelkova. These theories are completed with information gained by Rayner, Gjesme and Fraisse. The important section is a chapter where diagnostics and specifics methods are presented. The empirical section contains the results of research provided by 5 classes of high school students with an eight year (or four year) study plan in April 2012 in Caslav. Using two questionaries (Motivational Induction Method and Perspective Orientation Questionary). Motivational Induction Method investigates objects of students' time perspective and summarized these themes into exact time frames.
