Raspberry Pi Pico with Ethernet
Zima, Jan ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the implementation of ethernet communication using microcomputer Raspberry Pi Pico and a physical layer chip. The communication is intended to be bidirectional between the microcomputer and other computer on a local area network (LAN) using the well-known MII interface. Microcomputer uses this network to communicate data which are acquired by distance sensors. A software which is outputting those acquired data to the console is implemented on the second computer. This thesis also focuses on a PCB design itself where individual electronic parts are connected making a functional circuit.
Serial Data concentrator in VHDL
Řeháček, Tomáš ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
In the bachelor’s thesis text there are summarized basics of VHDL language, ISE Webpack development environment is described. Also the way of communication and properties of serial unit are described as well as Ethernet standard properties and the way of communication via MII interface. Hardware used for the data concentrator design is briefly introduced in the next part. At the end of the thesis there is analysis of the data concentrator design for data transmission from serial unit to Ethernet using protocols UDP/IP.
Universal ethernet module
Řeháček, Tomáš ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with creating a universal module with Ethernet interface and its using for digital values measurement. The main module components are gate array FPGA, microprocessor, PHY chip and RJ45 connector. Printed circuit board is in this thesis designed in Eagle. The chase for board is drawn in SketchUp and printed on a 3D printer. There is a code implemented in created universal module that is performing the function of logic analyzer. Data measured by the analyzer are sent to the Ethernet using UDP/IPv4 protocol. The last part is creating an application in C# to display the measured waveforms on a PC.
Converter between Modbus-RTU and Modbus-TCP Protocols
Pitko, Erik ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mrázek, Vojtěch (advisor)
The main objective of this work is to inform the reader of the communication protocols Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU and create an embedded device based on the microprocessor STM32 capable of conversion between Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP protocols. The device should be capable of simple first run configuration with simple user interface.
