Extensible measurement socket placement optimalization with respect to the higher number of conductors

In opening, this bachelor thesis is describing structure and basic block description of UniGear switchgear manufactured by ABB company. Then this thesis focus on current and voltage transformers and sensors often used in this type of switchgear. Main part of this thesis is dedicated to evolution and description of connector, used in connection solution of withdrawable metering unit with low-voltage compartment. Next part states the main requirements for new connector, that will replace current connector in future solution. In following part there is a list of different options for new connector with their biggest strengths and weaknesses pointed out. Then there is list of alternative placements for new connector. In final part is chosen and described new connector and its placement. This solution is valuated and backed up by created 3D models.

Instrument voltage transformers of outdoor type

The function analysis of instrument voltage transformer with the aid of his equivalent diagram and his phasor diagrams is main part of my masters thesis. I solve the influence and errors of his equivalent diagram’s elements on this instrument voltage transformer. Than I talk about suitable magnetic materials using for instrument voltage transformers. There are 3D pictures which show lay-out of instrument voltage transformers’s windings and his magnetic circuit.

Using The Principles of Lean Production

This bachelor thesis is focused on improvement of production processes in company ABB s. r. o. in Brno which produces instrument transformers. This thesis describes the basics concepts of lean production. The reader learns about the problems of manufacturing company. In the next part the bachelor thesis analyzes and evaluates the current situation of production. There is a proposal of improvement in conclusion which affects the company´s production system that should increase the effectivity of production processes.
