Use of the Loketsko Region to Natural Excursions for Basic Schools

This diploma thesis deals with the didactic use of Loketsko as a target area for organizing science excursions for the second stage of basic schools. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the geological, floristic and faunistic specifics of the routes through which the proposed excursions lead. Special attention is paid to the issue of invasive plants in the Ohře Valley. Due to the glorious past of Loket, the theoretical part includes some chapters related to the history of the town of Loket and the castle of the same name. It also outlines a brief history of tin mining in the Slavkov Forest, which played an important role in the historical development of the area. The focal point of the work is the practical part, which has several objectives. The first aim is to create, realize and evaluate knowledge questionnaire survey, which aims to find out what awareness of the nature of Loket have pupils of the second level of elementary school in Loket and elementary school in Novy Sedlo. For the sake of clarity, the results of the questionnaire survey are graphed.
