Design and manufacturing of an engraving LED laser
Hlaváček, Petr ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is divided in two main topics. In first one it characterizes what unconventional machining methods are and divides them into groups according to the material removal effect. Each method is always simply and briefly explained. The purpose of this part is to introduce the unconventional technologies and their use in mechanical engineering. Second major topic follows comparison between beam methods and is dealing with the design and construction of a laser engraver. The goal is to build a prototype that allows not only engraving but also cutting into materials such as cardboard. The primary purpose of this machine is the production of kits for model railroad. The last chapters are about economic evaluation and comparison between made prototype and commercially sold engraver.
Design of an engraving LED laser
Kasík, Martin ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Dvořáková, Jana (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the search of unconventional machining methods, especially on the technology of laser beam machining. It deals with the area of laser cutting and engraving and examines the influence of individual technological parameters on the given process. Furthermore, there is proposal of design of hobby LED engraving machine, its supporting structure, HW and other electronic components. The prototype of the device is physically assembled and its functionality is verified in the form of several engraving tests of raster and vector formats of graphic materials, and some several shape cuts are made also. The technical evaluation of the assembled equipment, evaluation of tests performed and cost calculation is part of the work too.
Design and manufacture of an engraving LED laser
Adam, Tomáš ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
The thesis deals with the evaluation of achieved parameters of unconventional machining methods and their current use in practice. In addition, the design and construction of the prototype of the laser engraving device is carried out. Several tests are performed on the device and are compared with similar devices after evaluation. The entire construction is designed so that no special equipment is needed and the construction could be done in each workshop.
Design and manufacture of an engraving LED laser
Vodička, Jiří ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
The thesis deals with the current state, principle and use of unconventional machining technologies. It also includes the design and assembly of a engraving laser prototype, with an emphasis on simplicity and functionality. It was an effort to acquaint not only those interested in this activity with the engraving procedure, but also to make the prototype and its use accessible to everyone with a basic awareness of CNC control. Upon completion, a test was performed on the basic materials and the resulting engraving quality is evaluated in the thesis.

Design and production of a CNC engraving machine using an LED laser module
Novotný, Matěj ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Dvořáková, Jana (advisor)
This work focuses on the evaluation of the current state of the art and comparison of the properties of beam unconventional technologies. It discusses laser devices and the engraving process. It then focuses on the design and fabrication of a CNC engraving machine assembly using LED laser module. It describes the components used individually, their function, features, equipment to design and then the complete physical assembly of the device. Functionality was tested based on several engraving and cutting tests. Finally, the economic part of the project was discussed.
Design of an LED laser module with a power of up to 6 W
Chovanec, Daniel ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
The work is dedicated to laser modules for engraving and cutting materials. The theoretical part describes the basic principle of laser technology. It is more closely focused on the func-tion of laser diodes, basic types and possible modes of operation. Futhermore, control electronics are mentioned, their power supply and controls. In the practical part, a module designed for manual engraving was constructed. The design was conceived with an emphasis on small dimensions and low weight. The achieved parameters were tested by the module attachement to machinery that has continous movement. Tests confirmed sufficient laser power for engraving and cutting low-density material. In the final part, the construction of a new module was proposed, enabling installation on an engraving machine. Subsequently, a mechanism was added to enable precise adjustment of the focal length of the beam depen-ding on the thickness of the material.
