Cryogenic Technique
Zrůst, Michael ; Milčák, Pavel (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with technology of cryogenic temperatures, liquefying gases in this temperature interval, effects of these temperatures on materials and insulations. In the introduction, brief history of development of this field. Next part is about gases which get liquefied in cryogenic temperatures and their applications. The largest chapter is chapter about liquefying in which principle of coolers, heat exchangers and liquefiers is described. Next, means of cooling by expansion, cooling cycles used to reach desired temperatures and ways of separating gas mixtures, are specified. In the last chapter insulation used to maintain cryogenic temperatures inside space is discussed.
Diagnostic method of solar cells operating at very low temperatures
Bartoň, Jiří ; Stojan, Radek (referee) ; Veselý, Aleš (advisor)
This work deals with the modern diagnostic methods of defects detection of solar cells. Defects are detected by electroluminescence and photoluminescence methods. The main focus of this work is an innovation workplace for measuring solar cell defects at very low temperatures using photoluminescence. Liquid nitrogen is used to cooling solar cells. By using low temperatures can be detection methods to obtain more objektive results of diagnostic defects.
Technology for liquefaction natural gas and its use and distributing
Konopiský, Karel ; Šnajdárek, Ladislav (referee) ; Škorpík, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned with technologies of liquefaction of gases, and methods of their subsequent storage and utilization. Firstly, I summarise a history of the technology of liquefying gases and reaching low temperatures. In the following parts, the thesis is focused on means of utilization and distribution of liquefied gases. Special attention is paid to liquid natural gas, which is the most used liquefied gas in practice. A separate part of the thesis is then designated to a method of liquefaction of natural gas.
