SWOT analysis of the selected company

The main goal is to perform an evaluate the SWOT analysis of the selected company. The wok is divided into theoretical part which explains the importance of the company its functions and types. In this part there is also described the SWOT analysis. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part where the selected company is characterized and SWOT analysis is used on it. Because of the SWOT analysis the strategy of the company has been detected. The conclusion od this work described the findings based on SWOT analysis which could be beneficial for the choice of the following strategy of the company.

The aim of this thesis is to use gained knowledge for the valuation of the chosen company. The specific company is Kaufland ČR v.o.s. The result of the financial and strategic analysis is to determine the specifics of the retail market. The basic method for valuation is method DCF entity, the secondary are method of comparable companies and the accounting method.

Diploma thesis "Financial analysis of stores Kaufland Česká republika v.o.s. a Lidl Česká republika v.o.s." aims to assess the financial and property situation of the company in the period of 1. 3. 2008 -- 28. 2. 2013. This work is divided into two parts. The first part deals with methodological interpretation of financial analysis, then the second part is focused on the application of theoretical knowledge to the selected companies. At the end of this work, the results of financial analysis are summarized.
Fair trade position on the Czech market

The aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to analyse the positon of fair trade on the Czech market. Firstly I introduce the fair trade movement and its principles, the main international fair trade organizations and also some of the critical views. The third part focuses on the availability of fair trade products in the retail sector and analyse the availability in two retail chains, dm drogerie and Kaufland. The last chapter is devoted to the Czech customers using a questionnaire survey I investigate the awareness of fair trade in the Czech Republic and who is the typical customer of these products.

The theoretical part defines the term shopping atmosphere and its particular criterions and describes retail units Kaufland and Tesco in Czech Republic. The second part analyses shopping atmosphere in these units by two different methods.

The thesis is focused on the importance of a costumer for the company Kaufland Czech Republic. The theoretical part includes breef description of trade, retail units and characteristics of a costumer. The practical part concentrates on Kaufland as a company, to be concrete on run of Customer department. There is an analysis of a certain activity of customer department as well, for example number of phone calls that has been solved or the consistence of received complaints and suggestions.

The goal of this bachelor work is to compare selected supermarket chains in Czech Republic from the given perspective. The main pursuit of this work is to set pros and cons of each chain and to compare their action and influence on the czech market. It focuses on the history and the progress of retail chains from the WWI until present. Then this work distinguishes these four chains, Tesco, Kaufland, Billa and ESO MARKET and in the last part it tries to compare four concrete branch stores of these companies.
Project Conversion of SKK to EUR in ERP SAP

This diploma work is concerned about of euro conversion and its impact on information system ERP SAP in large multinational company. Theoretical part is focused on general scenarios of euro adoption and progress of adoption of euro in Slovakia. Next chapter is describing methods of project management, definitions, subjects and stakeholders, organizational structures and phases of the project. Theoretical parts ends with description of ERP functionality, basic functional modules and general information about ERP SAP. Second, practical part is dedicated to project of conversion of euro in ERP SAP itself. Practical part begins with describing of company, organizational structure and IS architecture. Next chapters are focused on analysis of particular subprojects defined on scope of general euro conversion project, their schedule and reasoning of the sequence of each subproject.
