This thesis deals with life of John Henry of Luxembourg and his second wife Margaret of Troppau. Their marriage life had important part in politics of Charles IV, who was master of marriage policy. Work is based on sources, in which Margaret of Troppau is mentioned. For example chronicles, acts and bills. First chapter is about terminology of marriage, then there is short chapter about first marriage of John Henry and Margaret, countess of Tyrol. Family of Margaret of Troppau is also mentioned. Main part of the work is about marriage of John Henry and Margaret of Troppau, but we cannot say anything definite. Bachelor work would like get to know family life of margraves, where they lived, how their court looked like or what happened to their children.
