Tester audio cables

This thesis deals with the theoretical knowledge necessary to draft tester audio cables. The first section provides an overview of commercially available devices designed for testing audio cables. The second part is an overview of test cables and connectors, inclu- ding their practical application and its parameters. Next chapter presents development platform Arduino. The last chapter presents tester’s design including a description of its implementation and animation.

The Spectrum and ADSR analysis of different kinds of harpsichords

The work deals with the issue of temporal analysis of the variable frequency spectrum of the harpsichord and its amplitude envelope in time. In the introduction, the creation is described, what type of instrument the harpsichord is, the history of the instrument is also described, and above all, the construction and principle of tone are described. In the following part, we deal with the measurement of the output signal itself, followed by its spectral analysis, where the topic of sound color and the behavior of the harmonic series of the tone are discussed. The formation of inharmonicity in individual registers of the harpsichord is being examined, and the last subchapter focuses on the sharpness of tone over time.

Albee's Everything in the Garden in Czech Theatrical Context

Edward Albee is one of the most important American playwrights. He has successfully written his plays since the sixties of the twentieth century. Since then Albees'plays have been often staged in our country. His adaptation of Cooper's work - Everything in the Garden-is one of the most played Albee's title on Czech and Moravian stages (the same amount of production achieves drama Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf). Since 1969, when Everything in the Garden was translated by František Vrba and played in Divadlo S.K.Neumanna, this drama achieved twelve representations. Everything in the Garden was especially played in regional theaters. In 1997, the title was chosen by Městské divadlo Brno and in 2008 the latest production of this text was started in Městská divadla pražská, in Divadlo ABC, with a new translation by Dana Hábová. It is possible to see political and social development in our country in the transformation of individual production and critical response to them.
