Case report of physiotherapeutic care of patient with diagnosis ischemic stroke

Title: Case report of physiotherapeutic care of patient with diagnosis ischemic stroke. Objectives: The main aim of this thesis was processing casuistic of ischemic stroke diagnosis patient, and obtain theoretical knowledge about this illness. Methods: Bachelor thesis is divided into general and special part. General part is focused in theoretical knowledge describing the anatomy of the vascular supply to the brain, epidemiology and neuroplasticity of the brain. In the second half of the general part is with greater detail processed the issue of ischemic cerebrovascular disease, its classification, clinical features and risk factors. The final section is dedicated to spasticity and rehabilitative care for the patient. A special section was created on the basis of the current practices since 20 January 2014 till 14 February 2014 at Vršovická zdravotní a.s.. Its content is a close up casuistics reports of patient after ischemic stroke with left-sided symptomatology. Results: The patient's condition improved during rehabilitation. There has been a positive effect on stability while standing, walking and overall self-sufficiency of the patient. Keywords: Stroke, ischemic, spasticity, rehabilitation care.

Title: Case report of physiotherapeutic care of patient with diagnosis ischemic stroke. Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to elaborate a case study of patient after ischemic stroke, and to summarize theoretical knowledge regarding this diagnosis. Methods: The thesis is divided into general and special part. In the general part I focus on describing the theoretical basis of this diagnosis with the help of literature, especially on its etiopathogenesis, clinical symptomatics and rehabilitation cure of patients after this disease. The practical part includes case report of the patient with whom I had the opportunity to cooperate during a continuous practice in the regional hospital in Kladno in the term - 21.1. - 15.2. 2019. The case report include the input analysis of the patient, the suggestion of the therapy according to the input values, the application of the given therapies and the evaluation of the subsequent effect of the therapeutic action on the physical and mental condition of the patient. Results: The patient's health condition improved during the therapies. Effect of the therapy was an improvement of the patient's self-sufficiency and self-reliance in routine daily activities. Case study of physiotherapy treatment of patient with ischemic stroke

Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of patient with Ischemic stroke and hemiplegia affected the left side of his body. Goals: To show the full kiensiological assessment, special therapy approaches and therapy effect during 7 sessions. The theoretical part explains the clinical picture, physiological, pathophysiology, aetiology, categories, pharmacotherapy and surgical intervention of the stroke. And the main goal of the practical part is to present the examinations, the therapeutic approaches and the conclusion that were made after the rehabilitation process with the patient. Methods: During my clinical practice, we used the main structure for the Kinesiological assessment according to the Prague School approaches. Manual muscle testing according to Kendall (2005) and Janda (2013) were also used (under the instructions and the protocols from the Kladno hospital). Finally, we applied final kinesiological assessment to compare the patient situation before and after the therapy and to see the effect of our work. Results: As a result of our work we found that the therapy course shows some noticeable results in increasing the ROM and the function of the affected upper extremities.
