Design of Pendant Lamp
Špačková, Eliška ; Tauber, Jiří (referee) ; Sovják, Richard (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a suspended light and its assessment using the LCA method to minimize the environmental impact, while maintaining the aesthetic qualities and meeting secondary goals. A taxonomy and a design and technical analysis were introduced to organize the findings, using them as a base for the development of a new design solution. All alternative concepts were assessed using the LCA method and one of them was selected based on the critical evaluation. This concept was subsequently optimized, and its material versions were again assessed by LCA method. The final design combines technical and aesthetic characteristics of suspended lighting with sustainable design, a significant trend of the present and the future.
Design of Autorefractometer
Kazlouskaya, Anastasiya ; Sládek, Josef (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the design of a portable autorefractometer intended for preventive screening of amblyopia and refractive errors in young children. The goal is to create a well-balanced portable autorefractometer with a comfortable and properly positioned handle that will have a modern, pleasant and playful design. The work is based on the current state of knowledge and was created with ergonomic and technical requirements in mind.
Volumetric Method for the Determining kg CO2 eq. and Energy Requirements for the Production of Power Tools at an Early Stage of Product Design
Legal protection of design focusing on fashion industry
Tomášková, Lucie ; Růžička, Michal (advisor) ; Pítra, Vladimír (referee)
This thesis focuses on definition of all possibilities of legal protection of design relating to the fashion industry and fashion design. Thesis defines term design, its fundamental types, typical characters and special features. Next part deals with design as the immaterial thing, as the thing in legal sense and its categorization due to adoption of New Civil Code and broader concept of the thing in legal sense differentiating on material and immaterial. From the area of forms of legal protection thesis pursues particularly protection through copyright, industrial designs, trademarks and unfair competition. Simultaneously it compares the relationship of protection through copyright and industrial designs as well as industrial designs and trademarks. Another part is dedicated to public and private legal means which designer may use providing that there is interference with his rights. Apart from specification of forms and means of legal protection, which are available in the Czech Republic, this thesis aims to describe opportunities of designer in the international area and area of the European Union. Thesis concerns registered and unregistered industrial design from the point of view of the European Union, from the international area it mentions all international agreements important for...
Fashion Law
Kohoutová, Tereza ; Žikovská, Petra (advisor) ; Křesťanová, Veronika (referee)
Fashion law Abstract The main task of this thesis is to acquaint the reader with a relatively new cross-sectional field of law, which is the law of the fashion industry or fashion law. Although it is already established in the Anglo-American legal culture, in our country is still looking for its path. In addition to focusing directly on this field of law, the thesis also deals with certain aspects of intellectual property law that are associated with fashion law, and in the end, the various influences of fashion industry are briefly mentioned. The first chapter focuses on the definition of the concept of fashion law, how this field of law developed and what is its position in the United States, where it is taught at universities and was given some importance. The situation in the Czech Republic is also evaluated, where its development is mainly taken care of by the Institute of Fashion Industry Law. In order to provide a sufficient framework for other topics, the second chapter is devoted to the conceptual and legal specification of design and its protection. We will also get acquainted with its types with focus on fashion design. The third chapter is already fully focused on the first type of design protection, namely copyright. For the sake of completeness, this chapter discusses both the historical...
Industrial bakery Herold
Kręželoková, Tereza ; Štikar, Jaroslav (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor) ; Donaťáková, Dagmar (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to design a new industrial bakery for the company Herold Brno. The project is based on an architectural study elaborated in the subject AG035 - Architecture design studio V. - in the third semester of the bachelor's study. The plot designated for the project is located in Brno, in the cadastral area Horní Heršpice. This is an industrial district of the city. The surrounding buildings consist mainly of storage and production halls, toward the center there is a residential buildings and civic amenities. The assigned parcel is currently registered as a brownfield and is intended for production development. The plot is connected to the street „K Terminálu“ and is located in a slightly sloping area. The form of the building is based on the trapezoidal shape of the plot. The designed object consists of three interlocking forms, each of them performs a different function. In first cubic form is placed an entrance hall, a bakery shop, sanitary facilities and lockery rooms for a bakery staff. The second elevated form is placed on the first one and includes administrative promises. In the third and largest form there is a production hall, expedition and storage facilities. The design has industrial character, which is based on the purpose of the object. The main material is concrete, which is used in both – the exterior and interior. The facade is made of exposed concrete, in the interior is used concrete design plaster. The monolithic concrete mass is discontinued by black metal elements, such as window frames or railing, and is lightened by glass segment. An important element is the outdoor atrium, which is located between the production hall and the entrance part, which improve the working environment for employees. Before entering the building there is a barrier-free ramp and exterior stairs. The whole building is barrier-free.
