Effect of pharmacotherapy in idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP)
BRYCHTA, Jakub
This study focuses on the monitoring of platelet count dynamics during pharmacotherapy in patients with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) and the comparison of the efficacy of different treatment strategies. To achieve this goal, venous blood samples from patients diagnosed with ITP were analyzed and stored in the anticoagulant K3EDTA. Subsequently, platelet count (PLT) and percentage of immature reticulated platelets (IPF) were quantified using the XN series hematology analyzer from Sysmex. All results were recorded and evaluated in excel software. Subsequently, 3 tables were created from the results and patients were categorized according to the type of treatment. Finally, 5 case reports of patients with ITP were selected. The results of this study provide insights into the effects of pharmacotherapy in patients with ITP and provide insights into the effectiveness of different treatment options. These findings may provide useful information for envisioning the optimal treatment regimen for individual patients with ITP. A better understanding of aspects of this disease may lead to an improved quality of life for patients with ITP. The individual response of patients to treatment is crucial, with the choice of treatment depending on the severity of symptoms and side effects. Mean platelet values differed between the groups of patients without treatment, with first-line and second-line treatment. I also noted that proper treatment can lead to an increase in platelet count. Individual approach to patients and regular monitoring of response to treatment is important. New methods of pharmacotherapy for ITP offer a more targeted treatment effect.
Influence of airflow control with vocal cords on dynamic stand stabilization
Rybáčková, Kristýna ; Šorfová, Monika (advisor) ; Lopot, František (referee)
Title: The effect of airway control on stance dynamic stability Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to find out whether and how will the influence of vocal cords modulation be manifested on the dynamic stabilization of the standing body during translational shifts of the supporting surface of different intensities and A-P directions. Thus, building on the findings of Massery et al (2013). Methods: The thesis has the character of qualitative research. The experiment was attended by 23 healthy probands, of which 7 men and 16 women aged 20-40 years. Spirometry was used to test the objectivity of airway airflow during breathing / phoning maneuvers with different vocal cords positioning and dynamic computer posturography using the Neurocom Smart Equi Test System and its Motor Control Test, which evaluated the effectiveness of automatic postural responses. We connected the posturograph with the spirometer using the Kistler accelerometer (type 8766A100BB). The course of the experiment was simultaneously recorded by a camera (GoPro Hero 7). The Smart EquiTest System generated three postural perturbations of different intensity (S - sub treshold, M - threshold, L - saturating) in two directions (anterior translation / posterior translation). The measured data were then processed in the program Neurocom...
The selection and deployment of foreign programs of the Western block in hte Czechoslovak Television in 1997 and 1987
Luňáčková, Eliška ; Štoll, Martin (advisor) ; Růžička, Daniel (referee)
This thesis The selection and deployment of foreign programs of the Western bloc in the Czechoslovak Television in 1977 and 1987 is concerned with factors that influenced the selection of foreign television programs of the Western bloc in Czechoslovak Television at that time. The political situation in Czechoslovak was very tense under the communist power in 1970s and only after 1985 when Perestrojka was introduced in the Soviet Union that things started to improve in terms of economical and social reforms (Perestrojka started very slowly in Czechoslovak in 1987). One of the main goals of this thesis is to investigate how the political situation in the society affected the Czechoslovak Television in general and the broadcasting of foreign programs in specific. Were there more television shows from the Western bloc in 1987 than in 1977 because of Perestrojka? Or did Perestrojka have no influence on the TV guide at all? This thesis will bring answers to these questions. The Czechoslovak Television was supposed to work according to Ideově tematické plány. These plans showed the main ideology of TV and contained a list of all shows that were supposed be broadcasted during the next year (as the plans were made one year ahead). These plans were very important official documents and all departments were...
Historie a současnost léčby idiopatické trombocytopenické purpury
ŠIMKOVÁ, Veronika
The bachelor paper on The Past and Present of Idiopathic Trombocytopenic Purpura Therapy explores this disorder with particular emphasis on modern methods of treatment. It describes its origin and classification; its causes and incidence in the population; its diagnostics and pathogenesis. The text also includes a questionnaire related to its treatment in the South Moravian Region as well as cause studies of individual patients.
Highly sensitive determination of cationic pesticides in orange juice by capillary isotachophoresis-electrospray ionization - mass spectrometry with advanced electrolyte tuning
Malá, Zdeňka ; Pantůčková, Pavla ; Gebauer, Petr ; Boček, Petr
In this contribution we present an innovative way to easy, fast and highly sensitive analyses by capillary electrophoresis with electrospray ionization mass spectrometric (ESI-MS) detection. The new method is designed to be applied to ESI-compatible electrolytes (e.g. ammonium acetate) and offers advanced tuning of selectivity conditions within a wide range of analyte mobilities.
