The proposal parameters of the small water reservoir in GIS environment.
Feltl, Jakub ; Ivana,, Kameníčková (referee) ; Doležal, Petr (advisor)
This report deals with rainfall-runoff modeling and small water reservoir projection with usage of modern software equipments (GIS, HEC-HMS), using maximum number of available data sources (BPEJ, LPIS, N-year rainfall gages, 3D contours …). The advantage of this method is that it is possible to predict the shape of hydrograph and flood wave volume as well. Other methods cannot offer judgment of flood wave volume and hydrograph shape as this method does. The most important thing in small water reservoir projection is the flood wave volume value, which is undervalued nowadays using wrong evaluation. This method’s advantage is variability of scenarios depending on soil surface, used agricultures, hydraulic and hydrologic parameters etc.
Evaluation of Flood Waves in the Upper Part of Jihlava River Basin
Kozel, Tomáš ; Marton, Daniel (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
This thesis is about construction of forecasting models for prediction of flood flows of systems measuring profile Batelov – Dvorce, Dvorce – Ptáčov and Batelov – Ptáčov on the river Jihlava. For forecasting flood flows were used classic hydrological forecasting models. Another forecasting models contained neural networks. Data for construction of forecasting models were used for years 1960 – 2010. Evaluation was made in the end of thesis. The thesis also containes theoretical line of flood flows volume.
Flood Prediction in Borovnice - Dalečín Measure Profiles
Hiesböcková, Tereza ; Janál, Petr (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
Aim of a work is construction of forecasting models for prediction of flood flows of measuring profile Borovnice – Dalečín on the river Svratka. As a tool for issuing predictions will be used classic hydrological forecasting models, and models based on artificial intelligence methods. Predictive model will be consisting from summer flood flows for the years 1997-2007. In the end of the work will chosen a better method for issuing forecasts
Hydraulic assessment of a stream revitalization effect on a floodplain retention capacity
Berka, Ondřej ; Havlíček, Tomáš (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
Diploma thesis “Hydraulic Assessment of a Stream Revitalization Effect on a Floodplain Retention Capacity“ assess availability of revitalized stream and its floodplain to transform floods and compare determined values with transformed floods from model of technically modified stream, both by using coupling 1D/2D BASEMENT computational model. In the first part is overall introduction to research issue. In the second part the territory of interest is described and the hypothesis are set. In the third part are described input data, used tools, computational model, its making and computational versions. In the fourth part the hypothesis are evaluated. It was determined, that for in this thesis used terrain and hydrographs are floods smaller than Q20 transformed much more by revitalized stream and that technically modified stream can speed up the flood, floods Q50 and Q100 are more transformed by technically modified stream. For generalization of the results would be appropriate to make research on bigger ammount of case studies based on combination of 1D/2D and rainfall-runoff model.
Flood Control Measures Design in the Březnice Creek Basin
Zárubová, Kamila ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the flood control. In particular, the design of a set of small water reservoirs with retention effect (polders) and their effect on flood flows. The work is divided into two parts, the first part refers to the bachelor thesis. In this thesis is description of the catchment, rainfall-runoff process and the evaluation of the ratio. That was got the necessary information for the design of polders. This is an abbreviated repetition of the contents of the thesis, which is a continuation of this work. The second part deals with the specific design of two reservoirs, including hydro calculations and drawings. For this work were used ArcGIS - ArcMap, Hydrog and to create drawings AutoCAD 2010.
Evaluation of Flood Waves in the Velička River Basin
Barvík, Jan ; Kozel, Tomáš (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis says about basic characteristics of the river Velička. It describes the climate and geographic factors affecting the rainfall- runoff process of the landscape, brings a description of the water works and other man-made constructions, including land use. The bachelor thesis chronologically describes the flooding on the Velička river. It also presents hydrological observations based on historical observations of water conditions and flow rates in recent years. The selected extreme floods are analyzed (including characteristics of synoptic meteorological causes of the situation, the progress of the flood waves etc.).
Evaluation of Flood Waves in the Jihlava River Basin Upper Part
Kozel, Tomáš ; Janál,, Petr (referee) ; Starý, Miloš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis includes evaluation of flood waves in the Jihlava river .concrete Batelov, Dvorce and Ptáčov profiles. There are data about flood waves since 1944 to 2010. Information consists of peak flow and duration of peak flow movement from one profile to another and shape of flood waves. At the end of this thesis data of flow were compared with offered data from ČHMÚ in sad profiles.
Analýza srážko-odtokových vztahů na vybraném povodí
FREJLACHOVÁ, Dagmar
This bachelor is focused on analysis of rainfall-runoff relationships. The theoretical part of the thesis defines water in nature, hydrological balance, the rainfall-runoff process, and characteristics of its parts. Rainfall-runoff events and ways of analysing the relationships between rainfall and runoff are also described. The practical part is focused on analysis of rainfall-runoff relationships on the catchment of Jenínský stream in the hydrological years 2011-2013. Description of the catchment, processing of the rainfall and runoff data, creating of hydrographs and runoff coefficients for each hydrological year and selected rainfall-runoff events are part of the thesis as well.
