Effects of high-intensity interval training on the aerobic performance of soccer players
Stehlík, Jiří ; Frýbort, Pavel (advisor) ; Kokštejn, Jakub (referee)
Title: Effects of high-intensity interval training on the aerobic performance of soccer players. Objectives: Influence eight-weeks intervention HIIT program on aerobic performance of football players. A secondary aim was to determine influence eight-weeks intervention HIIT program on aerobic performance of football players ages categories U16 and U17. Methods: High intensity interval training Results: After eight-weeks HIIT program occurred in the experimental group of football players to improve aerobic performance. HIIT program therefore has positive effects on aerobic performance. Football player age category U17 increased performance of 1,9 ml.min-1 .kg-1 , which is slightly greater increase than in age category U16 which increased performance of 1,6 ml.min-1 .kg-1 . Keywords: high intensity interval training, aerobic performance, Yo-Yo test, soccer

Title: Effects of high intensity interval training on aerobic and anaerobic performance of football players aged 14 and 15 Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to establish the effect of a seven-day training programme HIIT on aerobic and anaerobic performance of football players in the age category of U-14 and U-15. Methods: High intensity interval training Result: After a seven-week training programme HIIT there was an average increase of aerobic performance in the programme partakers by 3.2 ml.min-1 .kg-1 which is a relatively large difference, compared with EX2 who underwent an ordinary training programme. In the long jump presenting anaerobic performance, these players improved by 8.3 cm on average, while in the second group EX2 the results improved by 6.4 cm on average. Keywords: football, high intensity interval training, aerobic performance, anaerobic performance, category U-15
Changes in body composition and anaerobic and aerobic performance during the six weeks HIIT
Kliková, Dana ; Heller, Jan (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
The aim of this master thesis is to evaluate the influence of a six-week HIIT (High intensity interval training) on body composition and both aerobic and anaerobic performance. A group of 9 men aged 28-51 years was gathered and who followed an exact six-week training programme according to the chosen hypothesis. The results of our study show that the chosen six-week programme led to statistically significant (p < 0,05) changes in body weight (kg), BMI (kg/m2 ), in FEV (l), and ANC/kg (J/kg). Changes in the other parameters were statistically not significant. Taking into account the size of group (n=9) we conclude that mainly effects on the individual level were attained.
