Heat exchangers Natrium - Carbon Dioxide
Foral, Štěpán ; Šimo, Tomáš (referee) ; Šen, Hugo (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes design of heat exchanger for sodium cooled fast reactor of the IV. generation and compares the achieved solution with other realized projects. The first part deals with brief description of individual types of the nuclear reactors of the IV. generation and their main assets. There is an emphasis on the description of the sodium cooled fast nuclear reactor. The second part deals with complex design of a heat exchanger, when the initial concept is considered to be a heat exchanger with sodium on one side (warming medium) and carbon dioxide on the other side (heated medium). The core of this part is comparing individual concepts of the heat exchanger when variable construction materials are used. Furthermore there is accomplished range of heat, hydraulic and strength calculations of basic proportion of the options of the solution of the heat exchanger with work medium inside of pipes and outside of pipes. There are presented summary of the accomplished observation and comparing of the designed concept with realized similar projects in the conclusion.
Solar heating swimming-bath water
Lučko, Martin ; Pospíšil, Jiří (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
In this bachelor´s work I engage in problems and concept of solar system for preparing heating swimming-bath water. For heating – up has been used a bivalent system complemented by electric heating inlet. The calculation has been intent on concept of collector area size and balance of energy systém.
Solar heating tap water
Kysel, Stanislav ; Pospíšil, Jiří (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
Solar heating tap water In this bachelor´s work I engage in problems and concept of solar system for preparing warm supply water. For heating – up has been used a bivalent system complemented by electric heating inlet. The calculation has been intent on concept of collector area size and size of the supply bin.
Heat exchangers for heating
Blažek, Miroslav ; Hejčík, Jiří (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The Heat exchangers are important part in the energy transfer between two substances. Bachelor’s thesis deals with the problems of the option of the heat exchangers. It seperated into two parts. In the first theoretic part there are shown the basic criteria of this option. The next part deals with the most frequent types of usage of heating units or convectors.
Domestic gas boilers
Haluza, Jakub ; Fiedler, Jan (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compile the summary of domestic gas boilers, their structure, performance and controls. Then to elaborate the technical-economic comparison of below named methods of heating for the concrete object.
Steam generator heated with liquid sodium
Kóša, Štefan ; Bogdálek, Jan (referee) ; Šen, Hugo (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is concerned with engeneering a steam generator (secondary heat exchanger) for a fast breeder reactor. It includes proposal of the projected type, thermal, hydraulic and strenght calculation, and examination of a proposal in light of nuclear safety. It contains a lay-out of selected parts.
Heating of the School Building
Holková, Soňa ; Wierzbická, Helena (referee) ; Vendlová, Lucie (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor's dissertation is heating of the Primary and the Kindergarten school's buildings. The main aim is to make a design of the heating system and the hot water preparation. The source of the heat is the hot-water pipe, which the buildings are connected trough the heating coil to.
Air-condioning of Congress Centre
Kovářík, Tomáš ; Plášek,, Josef (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The objective of this thesis is the design of the air-conditioning system for the Congress Centre. The conference hall with attached toilets and swimming pool hall were dealt within the design of this building.
Comparison of heat transfer in straight and corrugated minichannels with two-phase flow
Peukert, P. ; Hrubý, Jan
Measurements of heat transfer rates performed with an experimental condensation heat exchanger are reported for a corrugated minichannel tube and for a straight minichannel tube. The two cases were compared at same flow regimes. The corrugation appears advantageous for relatively low steam pressures and flow rates where much higher heat transfer rates were observed close to the steam entrance, thus allowing shortening the heat exchanger with the associated advantages of costs lowering and smaller built-up space. At high steam pressures and high flow rates both tubes performed similarly.
Experimental heat exchanger with a corrugated capillary tube
Peukert, Pavel ; Hrubý, Jan
The short article inform the reader about a experimental heat exchanger build and located at the Academy of sciences of the Czech republic. This set-up was launched during November 2009. Ther article further contain research argumentation, some details of the design and actual stage of the set-up (year-end 2009).
