Content, metodic and didactic elements update of e-learning textbook called Microeconomics

The practical part of this work, which product is called Project "ME08", based on update content, methodic and didactic elements of distance education{\crq}s textbook called Základy pro porozumění tržní ekonomice (Bases Principles to Knowledge of Marked Economy) by PhDr. Pavel Hejtman, CSc. The main part of this work was to get acquainted with main content, methodic and didactic elements principles how to write and prepare training publication and concept parts of updates. In this area there is the head part how to make best of Internet{\crq}s information source, how to usage knowledge about based studies materials for www together with graphics aspects of documents, how to usage illustration and documentation counterparts which have been written by students like student{\crq}s projects. Outcome of practical part of this work is modern distance learning e-book, which is wider than normal textbook. This e-book is included in this theoretical part as a CD-ROM (demo version). A theoretical part is directed at write and prepares publication for distance education and how to use this known ledges in practical part of Project "ME08". In another part there are description updates of older digital version "EDEN3", which has been setup on Internet education platform e-Amos until this date. At last part there is a description of the new part of e-book Project "ME08".

Design and realization of the contract web pages

This bachelor thesis deals with the web pages creation. At first it familiarizes in general with Internet and currently used technologies. Then it explains main principles of web pages creating for companies in the areas of accessibility, usability, content and searchability and main points of the life cycle, which is divided into the preparation, implementation and maintenance of web sites. These facts are then applied directly on the web page of the selected gastronomic company. Based on all of these principles a web site rating is evaluated.

Using microformats in internet magazine development

The aim of this work is to provide a look in a problem of semantics on the web, to implement the chosen semantic components (microformats and HTML 5) to the new version of internet magazine mobilenet.cz development and to make a research of microformats utilization by the competitive magazines and open source content management systems. This work shows the practical view in the microformats implementation into the system of the internet magazine, describes the implementation problems as well as their solutions. It also shows a review of real world usages and benefits, which these technologies provides. The utilization research also brings a look in the actual situation and the way of utilization on the Czech internet and provides valuable perspective of possible competitive advantages for the magazine too. It is also researched which solutions provide the open source content management systems. The work is divided into four chapters. First theoretic chapter deals with the semantics on the web, concretely with the microformats and HTML 5, followed by the basic description of the magazine's development and semantic components' implementation in chapter three. The last chapter is finally dedicated to the research itself.

Essential tools for developing web applications

This bachelor thesis is devoted to problems of creating web applications using XML files for data storing. The main mission of thesis is to demonstrate XML language usage in these applications and to introduce a reader with another important languages for development of these applications. This thesis is trying to offer a complex view of this problem. Because success of application largely relies on the fact how easily the applacation can be found by potential users of the web, the thesis describes how can be web sites indexed by search engines. There are two main parts of this bachelor thesis: teoretical and practical. The first chapter describes HTML language with accent on his features that can be used for cooperation with web applications. The second chapter is devoted to XML markup language. Third chapter is about Dublin Core metadata standard which can be used with web applications to ease searching of electronical sources. The fourth chapter describes indexing of web pages by search engines and the following fifth chapter describes advanced searching with search engine Google, that can be used for detection if search engine optimization was successfull and if web page is findable. The sixth chapter dedicated to practical part of this thesis. This part describes developed web application programmed in PHP language. This application works with XML file via DOM and SimpleXML interfaces. Interfaces are compared to each other. This chapter also offer some guides describing how to implement some usefull functions in web application.

The subject of this bachelor thesis is Java framework Apache Wicket that is instrumental for easier way of web application presentation layer development. Primarily it tries introducing readers to its fundamental features, architecture and component based approach to web application development. This bachelor thesis does not aim to become tutorial for this framework, but it can be helpful in selection among similar specialized frameworks. Whereas, it aims to help readers to make more detailed imagination of Apache Wicket offers.

Cílem práce je porovnání tří specifikací XHTML a nastínějí jejich základních vlastností a odlišností.

Compound XML documents

Tato práce se zabývá různými charakteristikami komponovaných dokumentů a ukazuje potencionální výhody využití takových dokumentů v prostředí dnešního Webu. Hlavní pozornost je soustředěna na problémy spojené s validací komponovaných dokumentů. Práce zkoumá různé přístupy k řešení těchto problémů. Validační metoda NVDL (Namespace-based Validation Dispatching Language) je popsána detailně. Tato práce popisuje hlavní principy NVDL, zkoumá výhody a nevýhody oproti jiným přístupům a představuje JNVDL. JNVDL je kompletní implementace specifikace NVDL, která byla napsána v jazyce Java jako součást této práce. Popsány jsou nejen technické prvky implementace, ale JNVDL je představeno i z uživatelské perspektivy. Pro ověření využitelnosti bylo JNVDL integrováno do existujícího projektu pro validaci webových dokumentů s názvem Relaxed, aby jednoduše zpřístupnilo validaci komponovaných dokumentů autorům webového obsahu.

Conversion of OOXML format to HTML

The theme of this work is the conversion of Word 2007 document to the HTML format. The work contains the analysis of existing convertors and description of their disadvantages and errors. The format of the OOXML document, especially WordprocessingML document, is described in detail. API used for work with OOXML documents is described too. The main contribution of this work is development of a new convertor of WordprocessingML documents to HTML format. This converor enables to divide the output to more parts. User can choose type of dividing: by sections or by style(s) of paragraph. The convertor is described in the last chapter.
