The thesis ,,DC motor control by PLC Simatic S7-1200“ focuses on the control of the DC motor using the programmable automatic machine PLC Simatic S7_1200 CPU1214C, designed by the German company Siemens, generating the PWM signal. The PWM is processed by the integrated circuit called the H-Bridge, which subsequently controls the DC motor.

This thesis describes circuit design and realization for differential control of mobile robot. Control system is based on microcontroller STM32 of company STMicroelectronics, which selection is discussed too. Part of the work thesis is description issues concerning differential control of mobile robot, DC motor cotrol with incremental encoder including cascade control and implementation of cotrol algorithms.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to work the control of DC motors on already created stands using the CAN BUS. There is a research part in the thesis that deals with the control of DC motors. The DC motor simulation was created in MATLAB Simulink. The last part deals with the physical control of DC motors and the development of the user interface.
