An Investigation of the Effect of Flipped Learning Classroom on Students' Self-efficacy and Academic Achievement in Virtual Learning Context and their Perceptions of the Flipped Learning Classroom: A Case Study of Primary School Students

The educational landscape has undergone tremendous change as a result of the quick development of technology, with virtual learning emerging as a prominent teaching method. In this regard, the flipped learning classroom model has recently been used as a cutting-edge method in which actual classroom activities are reversed in a logical order in comparison to tasks in traditional classrooms, frequently appearing to be integrated with teaching materials in the form of videos or PowerPoint presentations, or is supplemented. Through two distinct methodologies (flipped instruction and face-to-face teaching), the current study aims to clarify the impacts of flipped learning classroom (FC) instruction on sixth grade students' self-efficacy and academic achievement. In addition, the study uses qualitative insights to examine the perceptions of sixth grade students regarding the flipped learning experience and the Shad application as a social platform in the Iranian primary school context.
