This bachelor thesis is dedicated to Götzl, Odkolek and Vilímek Prague families that were connected both relationally and entrepreneurially. The Götzl family and its members, especially the mayor Josef Götzl with his sons and their successors, belonged for almost a century to the influential figures, not only from industrial Karlín, but also from the Prague political background. The magnitude of the acquired social status and the prestige empowerment was powered by the purchase of the family residency and farmstead in Konárovice near Kolín. In the 1980s the Götzl family connected by marriage with František Odkolek miller's family. In this way a successfull entrepreneurial dynasty was born, represented first by Jindřich Odkolek and thenceforth by Vincenc Götzl, his sister's husband. The social and the family life was from now on directed to the presentable provincial estate in Konárovice, which in the upcoming decades became a place of countless visits for significant figures from the political and cultural environment surrounding both families. Politicians, artists, painters, doctors, musicians, guests of the nobility as well as foreign guests used to spent their free time there.
