This thesis is interested in the elements which search for the information about the place of French companies on the cosmetic market in China. It begins with the first part of theoretical research, followed by analyses of the cosmetic industrial, French and Chinese cosmetic market. Finally two examples of French companies (L'Oréal, L'Occitane en Provence) are analysed, which present on the Chinese market. The subject of this thesis is not to judge or valid whether the market or the strategy is correct, but to bring information and comparison of French companies on the Chinese market.
The concept of CSR in French companies´ practice

This thesis represents the complex view of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) concept and describes the practical use of CSR by the French companies. The first part contents the introduction to CSR, identifies three main areas of CSR and describes the process of implementation of CSR into business practices. The second part deals with the situation of CSR in the European Union and France. The third section focuses on social responsibility in practice of French cosmetics companies Yves Rocher and L'Oréal. Approaches of these two companies are compared and evaluated and in the conclusion of the thesis there are recommended steps to make corporate social responsibility of the two companies more effective.
Czech – French business cooperation with the focus on French companies on the Czech market

The bachelor thesis deals, in its first part, with business relations between the Czech Republic and France; in the second part it describes the Czech business environment which is further analysed finally in the thesis on the grounds of the evaluation of several selected French companies operating on the Czech market. The aim of this thesis is to assess the recent developments and the current status of the business cooperation between France and the Czech Republic as well as to present the issue of the French foreign direct investments and the French companies in the Czech Republic.
