Memory Reduction of Stateful Network Traffic Processing
Hlaváček, Martin ; Puš, Viktor (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the problems of memory reduction in the stateful network traffic processing. Its goal is to explore new possibilities of memory reduction during network processing. As an introduction this thesis provides motivation and reasons for need to search new method for the memory reduction. In the following part there are theoretical analyses of NetFlow technology and two basic methods which can in principle reduce memory demands of stateful processing. Later on, there is described the design and implementation of solution which contains the application of these two methods to NetFlow architecture. The final part of this work summarizes the main properties of this solution during interaction with real data.
VoIP Quality Analyzer
Krajíček, Michal ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the quality of the IP telephony and its measuring using the netflow technology. It describes individual factors influencing the quality from sampling and quantization over the impairment caused by codecs to the degradation during network transfers. Next part focuses on models allowing to regard quality of IP telephony with emphasis to the E-model and R-factor. It shortly describes the netflow technology and the quality measuring connected with it. Practical part describes the principle of how the quality is measured by the netflow probe nProbe together with offer and implementation of application measuring the quality. The comparison with commercial application is presented and the results are discussed.

Information System for Fair User Policy Management
Vykydal, Oldřich ; Žádník, Martin (referee) ; Tobola, Jiří (advisor)
Main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement information system for the management of Fair User Policy, or abbreviated as FUP. This whole project is based on the use of NetFlow technology to monitor the computer network through the monitoring of network flows. The resulting information system will enable network administrators to set limits to customers in the volume of transferred data and subsequent monitoring of their compliance. If the customer is in breach of these limits, the information system will allow the penalty. The system will also record some statistics on network traffic.
