Evalution of Corporation´s Economic and financial situation.

This diploma paper treats methods of financial analysis and thein use for evaluation of the economic and financial situation of a company. I tis dividend in free parts – a theoretical one, an analytical one and a practical one. In the theoretical part of this diploma paper there are selected terminology explained and certain methods of financ ial analysis described. The kex attention is paid to elementary methods, primarily to the analysis of the status indices, ratio indices and the analysis of the system of indices. In the secon part of the paper these methods are used for processing of the financial analysis of the Spalovna a komunální odpady Corporation, in Brno. The reset of the analysis will be an evaluation of the society development during the years of 2003 – 2008, as well as an evaluation of the economic situation and status of the company at the end of the evaluation period and also an outline of a possible future development of this corporation. In the third part there will be a proposal of a solution for expansion of the corporatin presented on the basis of the results of the analysis and an evaluation of the corporation economic performance.

A suggestion for the improvement of the financial situation of the company

The main objective of this thesis is the formulation of the suggestions for the improvement of the company´s financial situation by using methods of the financial analysis. This presenting thesis was created for a concrete advertising company in Brno. The contribution of this thesis is not only a formulation of concrete suggestions but also a detailed financial analyse for the period of ten following years (which this company has not been doing before) to gain valuable information which can be used to improve the decision making process of the company.

Financial Analysis

The aim of this Bachelor's Thesis titled "Financial Analysis" is to assess the financial situation of the selected company, namely Poděbradka, Inc., observe the company's development from 2006 to 2010 and compare its financial situation with industry averages. The work is divided into two main parts. The theoretical section provides a data source for financial analysis, theoretical background, procedures and methods of financial analysis, explains the use of models and indicators. In the practical part of the work are applied these methods, in particular the absolute indicators and financial ratios, bankruptcy prediction models and indicator EVA, to the company Poděbradka and performed financial analysis for the reporting period with regard to the development of selected indicators in the industry. The conclusion offers a summary of collected information and briefly evaluates the financial situation of the company.

Aggregate measures of companies´ financial positions and their utilization

This dissertation deals with theme: Aggregate measures of companies´ financial positions and their utilization. This work is divided into five parts: importence of classification company´s financial position, systems of indexes in company´s practice, site and bankruptcy indexes - merits and deficiencies, indexes of financial health use in operational programme and concrete analyses of firm´s financial position by chosen models. First part deals with importance of financial position monitoring and gives description of financial analysis, it´s usage and user. Second part displays types of indexes system, which are used in practice. Third part characterizes site and bankruptcy index and apprise of chosen models in more details. Final part contains process financial position analyses of firm Zemědělské služby Dynín, a. s by concrete methods.

Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl zhodnotit vývoj finanční situace společnosti Brano, a.s. v letech 2004 až 2008 za použití absolutních, poměrových a rozdílových ukazatelů a tyto údaje porovnat s odvětvím. Teoretická část práce se věnuje popisu jednotlivých kroků finanční analýzy, praktická část pak samotnému zhodnocení výkonnosti a finanční situace v podniku.

Cílem práce je zhodnotit finanční situaci společnosti Východočeská energetika, a.s. za pomoci finanční analýzy a jejích nástrojů jako jsou horizontální a vertikální analýza, poměrové ukazatele či bonitní a bankrotní modely. V teoretické části je uvedena metodika finanční analýzy, v praktické části jsou pak předchozí poznatky aplikovány na konkrétní podnik.
