This bachelor thesis is focused on reproduction in cattle, specifically detection of estrus using various methods which aim is to detect estrus in time. In the introduction of a literary section, there are information about fertility, influences that affect fertility and sexual maturity. The summary chapter about physiology of reproduction includes a set of information about genitals, corpus luteum and reproduction cycle, including its hormonal control. Subsequently, attention is focussed on estrus, detection of estrus and methods of detection. Synchronization of estrus, insemination, reinsemination and reproductive indicators are mentioned at the end of the literature review. Practical part is devoted to evaluation of results of the reproduction of a specific company. Two periods are monitored, namely before and after introduction of system Ovalert. Finally, costs of the reproduction are evaluated. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the methods of estrus detection and evaluates the system Ovalert.

The diploma thesis is focused on the comparison of the quality characteritics of fallow deer meat originating from farm breeding, in cluding the assessment of the influence of different methods of slaughter, gender, and suplementary feeding of mothers during the lactation period on the occurence of qualitative changes in the texture of the meat literature rewiev is devoted to the definition and composition of meat, and then selected characteristics of meat are described individually. At the end of literary part, information about farm breeding is sumarized. In the practical part, the farm breeding of fallow deer of the Friedberger family is presented. Then the results from the analysis of the chemical composition of deer meat are presented, followed by an assessment of the occurrence of qualitative changes in the texture of meat depending on the monitored factors.
Selection of suitable disinfections to prevent the spread of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis in farms focused on the production of milk products and meat

This diploma thesis deals with the selection of suitable disinfectants and their effective concentrations for the prevention of the spread of the causative agent of caseous lymphadenitis in sheep and goat farms with a focus on milk processing, dairy and cheese production or meat production. For these purposes, disinfectants were selected from the group of quaternary ammonium compounds, oxidizing compounds, biguanides and alcohols, which were tested according to the ČSN EN 1656 standard on Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis isolates forming a biofilm. The theoretical part first deals with the general characterization of the bacterial species Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis and caseous lymphadenitis. In other chapters, the bacterial biofilm, its formation and the factors that influence it are described. Last but not least, the theoretical part is focused not only on the legislative treatment of the use or testing of disinfectants, but also on the closer characterization of their individual groups. In the experimental part, the procedure for determining the sensitivity of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis biofilms to selected disinfectants (benzalkonium chloride, chlorhexidine digluconate, ethanol, iodinated povidone, sodium hypochlorite and peracetic acid) was first optimized according to the ČSN EN 1656 standard. The optimization was followed by the cultivation and formation of biofilms of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis and the evaluation of their intensity by spectrophotometric determination of optical density. Subsequently, tested disinfectants were applied to the obtained biofilms, and after 24 hours of incubation from the end of the disinfection process, the effectiveness of the tested disinfectants was visually evaluated. At the end of the research, the minimum bactericidal concentrations for individual disinfectants were determined and the concentrations of these substances suitable for preventing and preventing the spread of the bacterium Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis in small ruminant farms were also selected.

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design of an agro-tourist farm in Mengusovce, a village located at the foot of the High Tatras in eastern Slovakia. The project deals with ecology, sustainability and the use of off-the-grid technologies. All activities on the farm are focused on supporting a healthy relationship with nature. The aim of this project is to create a recreational area that will promote eco farming, help tourism in Mengusovce, inspire a better lifestyle and motivate people to protect and learn about nature.

This bachelor thesis is focused on water management on two different farms. It deals with general information about animal farming and their need of water, water management and its legislation. The practical part of this thesis is devoted to characteristic of two selected farms and to a place where the farms are located. The farms were chosen with different numbers of animals to show different philosophies and different ways of thinking about water management. The comparison of differences between farms is demostrated from the obtained data. These data are the basis for the discussion about possible measures for better usage of water on farms.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the current state of the selected agricul-tural farm (family business Mikolášek) and to suggest the possibilities of its ex-pansion. The work is divided into 3 main parts: theoretical part, own work and ap-pendices. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the business environment and acquaints the reader with the basic concepts and information that are needed to know and understand business and its forms. The current state of the agricultural farm and the actual implementation of the business plan based on com-pany analyzes and investments are presented in the thesis. The conclusion contains an evaluation of the entire business plan.
Mimoprodukční využití usedlosti Kvítkův Dvůr v Českém Krumlově

The bachelor's thesis deals with non-agricultural production of the homestead Kvítkův Dvůr in Český Krumlov. The area of the Kvítkův Dvůr homestead was originally a part of the Český Krumlov chateau and supplied the chateau and its surroundings with agricultural products. It has always been an important landscape element around Český Krumlov. It is currently in a neglected state and there is a vision for the future of the restoration of the homestead with its own specific production. The aim of this work is to evaluate the potential of the area of the historic homestead Kvítkův Dvůr in Český Krumlov in terms of the basic dimensions of the principle of sustainability. To evaluate the potential, an extensive data collection was performed, on the basis of which an opportunity study was performed using SWOT and SMART analysis tools. The results show specific possibilities of non-production use, which are discussed in the work from the position of the author. The results also show there are several fundamental problems in the project that will not be so easy to solve. It is mainly a matter of changing and stabilizing property relations between the complex and its surroundings, as well as great financial demands and the right choice of financing. Given the above results, the option of buying the monument and financing its reconstruction and further development by the state with the help of subsidy and foundation forms of financing seems to be one of the good solutions.

Abstract The topic of this bachelor's thesis is "The Consumer Market with Organic Food in the South Bohemian Region" and it deals with the current market situation. The goal of this thesis is to analyse customer's approach to shopping of organic food, also looking for the weakest side of customer-organic food relationship and to define the direction how the customers think of the purchase. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts such as organic farming, defines legislation in labelling requirements and certification of organic food, the functions of organic farming control companies and production and processing of organic food. The results in the practical part were achieved by evaluation of a questionnaire survey and data analysis from the respondent's survey. Finally, the author suggests recommendations based on data analysis from the obtained information.
Finanční podpory a specifika účtování v zemědělském podniku

The content of this thesis is the financial support and the specifics of bookkeeping of a chosen agricultural company with the aim of describing different types of tax records and analysing the effect of grant titles on the economy of the firm. In the theoretical overview I evaluate the general politics of grant titles and characterize the available subsidies and financial support funds for agricultural subjects in addition to an overview on bookkeeping and the current state of agriculture in Czech republic. The applied part of the thesis contains the detailed analysis of all received grants of the chosen company. For the operational and investment grants the billing from a tax record point of view is further investigated. To complete the given task of this thesis I evaluated the finances of the company from internal bookkeeping documentation. I analysed the temporal development of the company's economy over a 6-year time period through personal interviews and discussions. This work applies for an agricultural subject that provides tax records and is specialised in mixed production of farm animals and plants. Since the farm's main interest lies in animal production, I chose to carry out a detailed calculation on the costs of cow milk production. It turns out that this commodity is cost-effective even without additional grants that the company receives every year. The total yearly amount of subsidies reaches around 2 500 000 Kč, which is approximately 20 % of the company's total gain. The largest proportion of financial support is provided by the grants SAPS - single application per area and ANC - mountain areas and other areas with natural and other special restrictions. This analysis shows that the chosen agricultural company is highly dependent on grant support.
Legislation of sale and processing of farm products

This thesis looks at the legal framework of the sale and processing of farm- produced goods. Especially, it concerns hygienic requirements for this type of production. The operation of an agriculture farm which grocery production connects the agricultural and grocery legislation. At the moment, it's a very actual topic because of the growing interest for local products of small farmers. Also, in this area, there were recent legislative changes to facilitate the process for small businesses. The objective of this research Is to provide a complex look at the legislation in the area of the farm processing and sale and to use critical analysis to chosen systematic elements and to particular provisions. In the first part of this work, the reader is presented with the introduction to this problematic, including the definition of the position of the grocery production done directly on farms in Czech agriculture and food industry. There are also fundamental concepts for this area defined. In the second part, the historical excursion of the sale and processing of products on farms is provided. The origin of the hygienic provisions was the Austria-Hungry legislation, especially the document Codex Alimentarius Austriaticus. The legislation in th interwar period followed.
